With extensive knowledge of the area, our skipper has a trick or two up his sleeve, and the only way to learn is to join him out on the water!

    Amazing Amdeo Trip

    Half Day Trip (PM) - 2 person rate • 2 adults

    Was an amazing time out on the water with skipper Dawson. Very light hearted warming guy to go fishing with. Very knowledgable on the area. If you're ever up this way and want to book a smaller charter group this is the place to go to. Thanks all who were involved with getting myself and my dad out on the water.

    Great way to spend half day in NZ

    We family of three had great time catching so many snappers. the Captain was very nice and funny, the owner operator were so nice as well. also, there were so many huge long fin eels hanging around the river and you can see them up close. I highly recommend this place!

    Dawson took the boys and I out today and had a mean time on the water. Top bloke, very knowledgeable and skillful. Jen was a legend too and super helpful with us few clueless novices. Highly recommend these guys, they rock.

    We booked our family of 5 on this fishing trip. Dawson took our 7 year old under his wing and he caught the most fish out of all of us. We all had a great afternoon and would highly recommend this particular trip.

    Captain Dawson is a expert fisherman. He knows very well his fishing spot. I just want to suggest to mention in the website that we have to bring our chilling bin to keep and bring back home our fishes.

    Our first fishing charter and loved it. We caught our own bait fish and used it to catch large snapper and kingfish. Ate it tonight with our family and everyone was very impressed! A great trip, thank you!

    Outstanding trip. Plenty of fish, including a couple of big ones. The captain (Dawson) new his stuff and put us right one the spot. He also took his time helping a 10 year old first-time fisherman to catch a bunch of snapper. there were 4 in our party and we all had a great time.

    The captain was very kind, humorous, patient, very good service, and very experienced, we harvested a lot of fish, although the king fish is not big enough, but at last we have seen it, so thank the captain for all the happy and enjoy!

    Skipper Dawson was excellent, besides all the fish we caught, plenty of laughs and banter onboard. Skipper Dawson was excellent with my daughter being her first time on a charter. Will definitely be back for more.
