Depending on the season, you might hook into Pink Snapper, Kingfish, John Dory, and anything else that bites. For these species, you're likely to bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And you can't go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!

Capt. Dawson runs a 24' KwikKraft aluminum fishing boat that holds up to 5 passengers. It has all the essentials. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you. Live bait is caught on your way out to fish.

Don't leave home without sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, weather appropriate clothing such as jackets and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, feel free. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Dawson took the boys and I out today and had a mean time on the water. Top bloke, very knowledgeable and skillful. Jen was a legend too and super helpful with us few clueless novices. Highly recommend these guys, they rock.
