Background: I am a native of south Florida and an Army veteran. I Grew up fishing in south Florida with my father and grand father. I grew up near the water so fishing after school was a daily event. I have been making my living fishing for the past 15 years and before that as a marine mechanic. I love taking people fishing, whether beginner or old salt I have a blast.
Techniques: Flying live baits from a kite or trolling ballyhoo and artificial lures are the primary techniques I employ. I do like to drop a shark bait while drifting and catching monster fish. Bottom fishing for grouper and snapper is a great way to put some filets on the grill.

Fish On... Fun Fun Fun!!

Had a great day fishing with a great family. Although we missed our shot at the coveted sailfish we did score big with lots of action. The kingfish were skyrocketing our baits all day. Using live Goggle Eyes for bait, We had lots of epic battles on light tackle throughout the whole day.

Constant action all day.

Great Day on the water. Live baiting paid off with 6 sailfish a limit of Kingfish and some blackfin tuna. We ran out of live bait and had to get more. The picture is one of the largest atlantic sailfish i've seen .It's getting to be my favorite time of the year "Spring Mayhem". this is what I call the fishing action offshore. the next 6 weeks the fishing will be excellent.

30 mph winds and 50 degree temp. We bundled up and headed out. Bob from NY caught a dozen king Mackerel and then switched it up for some reef fishing catching muttons and yellowtail snappers. wind was from the west so the seas were not very rough. great day!

Everglades Bass fishing is most enjoyable when the fish are biting and it is not 99 degrees out. We caught good numbers of fish and a few lunkers mixed in.

Had a great morning with this family. Half day trip catching Dolphin and king fish. Seas are a little choppy but worth getting out to catch some fish.

Full Day Trip - Deep Sea Fishing

Captain Tom did a great job, 2 of us had gotten sea sick he took us back but still manage to make sure the rest of the crew caught fish. He had bait fish ready and was at the dock waiting on us as soon as we arrived. After the day of fishing he fillet our fish so we could take them home and throw them on the grill, they were delicious.

We had an amazing time fishing with Captain Tom. This was our first time deep sea fishing and had a blast. Despite having a banana which is a bad omen and a few getting sea sick we were able to catch a nice fish. Definitely will do this again with Capt Tom.
