- While Tide Tight Guide Service is new to fishingbooker.com, fishing the waters around Swansboro and Emerald Isle is something Capt Andy has been doing for 20 years. A trip with Tide Tight includes everything you need to catch fish - rods, reels, tackle, bait, etc. Just bring what you want to eat and drink, a hat and some sunscreen, and you’re ready to go. Tide Tight covers the fishing licenses so you don’t have to buy one. On a typical day inshore we’ll be catching redfish, trout, flounder, black drum, and sheepshead. Near shore ocean trips targeting spanish and king mackerel, black bass, triggerfish are available if seas are calm. We’ll be fishing a 22 foot Pathfinder Tournament Edition bay boat, powered with a 200 horsepower Yamaha, with top end speed of 45 MPH. It’s equipped with Garmin electronics, a Minn Kona trolling motor, a Power Pole anchor and carries all Coast Guard required safety equipment.
