We were first time reef anglers and came out on top.  We tried the conch diving but the currents were too strong for any of us to make it down to snag a conch. Our first mate (Mike) collected our max so we had good bait and kept two shells for ourselves. Captain Anthony put us on fish right away. Within minutes we had caught two snapper. After a time of no nibbles we changed spots and again pulled in two more bigger snappers. Captain Anthony and first mate Mike were so helpful and friendly. It was just an overall great time. After we got to shore Captain cleaned our fish and took them to a restuarant where they will prepare them for us. They both made it fun for our teen boys teaching them about everything along the way. Thanks Captain and first mate for a great experience.

I can’t say enough good things about Lady May Charters. The booking process was easy, and instructions on where to meet, etc was seamless. My wife and our six year old twins had a blast!

Our first stop was to dive for conch - the first time I’ve done that and it was a blast. Sam, Anthony’s first mate, got out in the water with us, pointed them out and helped us grab more than we could eat in a week, and it made for excellent ceviche.

We started fishing a little further out, with a few bites but no luck. Then they brought us in to the reef, where we instantly started catching fish. A few white grunts, snapper and a squirrelfish later, and were back at the dock.

Sam filleted up the snapper and grunts, and showed me how to break open the conch shells to harvest the delicious meat inside them.

We’ll definitely be booking with Anthony and Sam at Lady May the next time we’re in Grand Cayman!

Recently took a fishing trip with Captain Anthony and he picked us up from Kaibo which was closer to our hotel.  We had an afternoon reservation and he texted me the day before letting me know morning fishing may be more favorable.  Unfortunately, we couldn’t switch our times.  So, we went out in the afternoon and my son hooked a 4 foot shark.  We released it, but it put up a 20 minute battle that was exciting.  Captain Anthony was a pleasure and his boat was clean and comfortable.  Next time we may book a fishing/snorkel excursion to add some variety.  The Captain is very accommodating, so if you have a special request, don’t hesitate to ask him.

Had a great trip with captain Anthony and his mate Marcus.  They were professional and maintained a clean boat.  Wasn’t a great day for fishing but we did catch dinner and it was delicious…actually the best fish I have ever had.  We stayed at the Marriott and the restaurant there (Anchor and Den) prepared it for us.  Captain Anthony made sure we had a place that could prepare the fish and made several calls to try to make it happen.  He even offered to drop off the fish at the restaurant so we didn’t have to haul it around.  We were a group of 7 (2 kiddos and 5 adults) and we caught enough for all of us to eat.  Both the captain and Anthony make sure we had a good time and were entertained.  They were very aware of safety on the boat with kids onboard.  Would definitely book with him again.

Capt. Anthony made sure he brought us to see the stingrays at Stingray City when there wasn’t a crowd to ensure the best experience possible. Mike on board was awesome with the kids, ensuring they both had time to feed/handle the wild stingray in a safe and comfortable manner. We saw hundreds there. Afterwards reef fishing was great with almost a dozen fish brought in making a great meal that night. They had tons of bait on board ensuring we never ran out (and we used a lot!).  It was the perfect trip especially considering all of the wind/rough weather at the time!
