Make an adventure out of your next trip to West Bay and go fishing with Lady May Charters. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Anthony knows them forwards and back.

Depending on the conditions, you might hook into Amberjack, Great Barracuda, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Groupers, Grunt, Jacks, Snappers, and who knows what else! On these trips, you can expect to bottom fish using light tackle.

Lady May Charters welcomes kids aboard, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

Capt. Anthony will bring you aboard a 34’ Crusader cuddy cabin that holds up to 5 passengers ,when on a fishing trip, and up to 25 when on a snorkeling trip ( additional charges apply). It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Anthony has rods and reels for you.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect. Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Full day combo trip

8 Hour Trip Reef Fishing Combo Tour on December 26, 2025

We spent a great day aboard Lady May with Nick and Cliff! Started early morning with fishing, caught lots of fish, mostly snappers, groupers. Nick helped kids, making sure each caught at least one:) Next was conch diving – it was our first time doing this, we saw lots of conch shells, but all we found ourselves was already empty. Luckily, Cliff got lots of live ones and later Nick prepared the best conch ceviche we've ever tried!! We then snorkeled at few spots on Coral Gardens and it was amazing - saw lots of fish, moray eel, barracudas, rays. Then stopped at Stingray City when it became less crowded. Finally went to starfish point before heading back to the marine. It was amazing day! Many thanks to Nick and Cliff for this incredible trip!!

Half Day Reef Fishing

Reef Fishing + Stingray City (PM) on December 25, 2025

Great half day afternoon reef fishing trip. Captain and first mate were outstanding. Easy to fish the reef. Caught enough for captain to make ceviche on the boat from smaller catch. Then prepared rest for us to take to restaurant to eat. Owner Anthony drove us from dock to restaurant to make sure we could eat on Christmas Day when a lot of places were closed. First class operation. Would use again without reservation.

Fabulous Experience

REEF FISHING & CONCH DIVING (AM) on March 18, 2025 • 4 adults

We were first time reef anglers and came out on top. We tried the conch diving but the currents were too strong for any of us to make it down to snag a conch. Our first mate (Mike) collected our max so we had good bait and kept two shells for ourselves. Captain Anthony put us on fish right away. Within minutes we had caught two snapper. After a time of no nibbles we changed spots and again pulled in two more bigger snappers. Captain Anthony and first mate Mike were so helpful and friendly. It was just an overall great time. After we got to shore Captain cleaned our fish and took them to a restuarant where they will prepare them for us. They both made it fun for our teen boys teaching them about everything along the way. Thanks Captain and first mate for a great experience.

A great morning fishing!

I can't say enough good things about Lady May Charters. The booking process was easy, and instructions on where to meet, etc was seamless. My wife and our six year old twins had a blast! Our first stop was to dive for conch - the first time I've done that and it was a blast. Sam, Anthony's first mate, got out in the water with us, pointed them out and helped us grab more than we could eat in a week, and it made for excellent ceviche. We started fishing a little further out, with a few bites but no luck. Then they brought us in to the reef, where we instantly started catching fish. A few white grunts, snapper and a squirrelfish later, and were back at the dock. Sam filleted up the snapper and grunts, and showed me how to break open the conch shells to harvest the delicious meat inside them. We'll definitely be booking with Anthony and Sam at Lady May the next time we're in Grand Cayman!
