  We had a great fishing trip in Lisbon

  Half Day Trip – Tagus Estuary on September 4, 2026 • 6 adults

  We were a group of six and had plenty of space on the boat. The captain was very knowledgeable and fun to talk to. We even had some interesting conversations about Lisbon and local crime 😄 He knew some great fishing spots, and we ended up catching around 10 fish, including an eel! He worked hard throughout the entire trip and took care of everything on the boat. All we really had to do was reel the fish in. You can tell he has a lot of experience — he was one of the first fishing captains in the Lisbon marina. He also shared a great list of recommendations for things to see and do in Lisbon, which was a really nice bonus. The boat was in okay condition and had enough room for all six of us. Overall, we had a really fun experience and enjoyed both the fishing and the time spent with the captain!

  An Amazing Fishing Experience

  Half Day Trip – Tagus Estuary on August 20, 2026 • 3 adults

  We couldn’t have asked for a better fishing trip! The captain was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and patient—especially with my 13-year-old son. He made the entire experience fun and enjoyable from start to finish. We caught tons of fish and five different species—so many that we could barely keep up! The boat was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, the location was fantastic, and we couldn’t have asked for better weather. It was an amazing day all around, and we truly couldn’t say enough good things about the experience. We would absolutely book this trip again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great day on the water!

  2 Hour Trip on August 19, 2026 • 3 adults • 1 child

  You don't need to be an angler to love this trip. Our five year old had been wanting to go fishing and since we were taking him to Portugal, figured this would be fun for him. It BEYOND exeeded our expectations! The communication with Captain Afonso was consistent and accommodating. He is very knowledgeable. When the waves were choppy heading out he suggested we push it back a little to make things easier which was very much appreciated. While fishing, Captain Afonso was great with out son and really made the trip about him - always passing the the rod our son and letting him reel the fish in. Captain explained everything so well and you really see and appreciate his passion for fishing. He even reached out to a local restaurant where we could take the fish to have it cooked for us. This was by far the highlight of our son's first trip to Portugal.

  Wonderful, charming experience fishing in Lisbon (Family of 4 with 2 teens)

  Half Day Trip – Tagus Estuary on July 28, 2026 • 4 adults • 1 child

  Captain Eduardo was amazing! Don’t let him fool you, his English is much better than my Portuguese, and sufficient for these purposes. He had water (ambient temp.) and crackers he gladly shared with us. Our 15 yo son is an avid fisherman, mostly fishing for bass in Nor Cal lakes. We booked the Tagus Estuary trip because our other son gets sea sick. The estuarial bay was very calm, flat at times, and we had lots of action. We caught 20, landed about 15. We caught mainly “Atlantic Kruger fish” and one other type of Kruger fish. Both my sons had a great time, Mom and Dad enjoyed watching their teens get along amd even SMILE! This is no frills, which is our preference, as we want the “show” to be catching fish and we didn’t book a tour with a picnic at the end, which worked great for us. This is our second time using Fishing Booker (last time in HI) and it is reliable and helpful for finding local fisherman to take small groups fishing. Would happily fish with Captain Eduardo again!

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Unforgettable Experience with Captain Eduardo! If you are looking for an incredible fishing trip in Lisbon, look no further than Lisbon Fish! We had an absolute blast on our trip, entirely thanks to Captain Eduardo. He knows these waters like the back of his hand and put us right on the action immediately. We ended up catching 6 massive fish in just 2 hours! The boat was great, the energy was high, and the experience was top-notch from start to finish. I highly recommend Lisbon Fish to anyone visiting the area and definitely ask for Captain Eduardo if you want an unforgettable, action-packed day on the water!
