Jason and Ian were amazing – total pros! My son hooked a big marlin right away, but unfortunately, it got away. He was bummed, but the crew went above and beyond to find some tuna, giving his 13-year-old arms a good workout.

Ms. Conduct was incredibly comfortable, and I didn’t even realize how I had roughed it on other charters until I experienced this one. The cabin was a great escape from the sun, with cozy furniture that made it feel like a dream after sleeping in crappy Airbnb beds. I even nodded off a couple of times, I got to relax while the boys did their thing. It was such a great day, and we’ll definitely book again the next time we’re on the Big Island.

I took my son-in-law on an afternoon trip.  He is from the Midwest, had never tried deep sea fishing, and wanted to learn the techniques.  Josh and Ian were friendly and personable, and spent a fair about of time teaching him about the lures, spreads, reels, and use of fighting chair.  We had bites, but couldn’t land what bit.  We had an unexpected bonus:  We saw whales breaching as we first started, and on the return to harbor troll, there was a juvenile whale who fully breached several times in a row.  It was quite a show.
Would recommend this crew and boat for this and longer trips.  They made every effort to find and attract fish, and were fun to fish with.  They’ve been on the water a lot, and it shows.

This was my second charter with Ms. Conduct and Captain Bill. Our morning started out just like the last time.  We were given complete instructions on what to do and the captain went over the safety procedures.  In a few short minutes,  we were off and running.  The crew member show us how to get into the fighting chair when a fish strikes.  There is a lot more to it than just sit down and go.  We were fitted for the chair and the fighting belt. After all of this was over, the anticipation was excruciating! The fish were cooperating and we were soon hooked up. As I fought the fish, there was complete instructions every other moment as to what the fish was doing .  We were able to get the marlin to the boat in no time. I definately recommend this charter and suggest at least a 5 hour charter to better your odds of multiple hookups. Captian Bill was fantastic. I will be booking again the next time I am in Kona.

We had a great time fishing on the Ma Conduct.  I caught my first Marlin and my daughter caught a nice Spearfish. Jason and TJ were excellent. They coached us through everything and even recommended a couple of restaurants that would cook our catch if we wanted. I would absolutely book another trip if we come back again.

We had an amazing time! From start to finish, the crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we had a great experience on the water. The boat was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Bonus because you can’t guarantee catching….we caught fish! The captain knew exactly where to go! I fished in the past on a couple other boats but highly recommend if you’re looking for a fun and successful fishing trip. We’ll definitely be back!
