Be aware. This boat is old and the charger for the sonar system malfunctioned. Not sure if this has been a recurring issue, but the captain did not check it before hand, and was not fully prepared. He told us to wait for 15 minutes for him to run and go grab new batteries, but ended up taking 35 minutes. We lost the most precious time in a summer day morning for fishing. We did still get the entire 4 hour trip, but 35 minutes after 11am is not the same as 35 minutes before 8am for fishing in summer.... More

I booked with Armando for my partners birthday and we loved our experience! I am more of a beginner fisher and my partner is more experienced and he did a great job at making sure we were both comfortable and I caught my first fish! My first few actually! He even made sure to pick a great spot to fish and communicates very well on the process and what to expect. We loved our guided tour and will definitely be booking with Armando again.

CPT Armando Salas is an awesome angler who takes pride in putting his clients on fish. He’s a very experienced fisherman. Me and my 15 year old son had a blast catching crappie.
