We had a great experience with Captain Ray.  It was my 14 yo Son’s first experience at salt water fishing and we all had a blast catching Spanish Makeral!  Captain Ray managed to thread the needle between bad weather and mark us over some running schools of Makeral.  We had fished very hard inshore the previous day for Red Drum but couldn’t get them interested after so much pressure on them over the Memorial day weekend. It was still a good experience and Captain Ray had us visually tracking the drum schools, but they were just too wary to eat that day.  Still fun and we learned a lot!  Would absolutely recommend Captain Ray to anyone interested in fishing in and around the New River waterways!

Raymond is an outstanding guide. His understanding of the local area and ability to target fish is unmatched. From the second my grandfather and I got on his boat to the last few minutes Raymond made us feel welcome. His boat and gear were clean and ready to use which made it easy and enjoyable to reel in 6 red fish within three hours.  Overall I am beyond please and satisfied with my trip, will definitely book Raymond again in the near future.

Captain Ray went above and beyond for my boyfriend’s 30th birthday. He called us the night before and let us know the conditions for the day and the lack of fish biting, and was very accommodating for canceling if we wished. We were fine as we just wanted a nice day of fishing and ended up having an extremely fun, relaxing, and enjoyable experience. Captain Ray is incredibly knowledgable, kind, honest, and entertaining. Even with a low catch day, we enjoyed the company and the beautiful scenery. I could not recommend this charter, and Captain Ray, enough and would implore anyone looking in this area to give his boat a try. We will certainly be chartering with him again! Thank you Captain Ray for an awesome day and birthday for my boyfriend!

Captain Ray put us on the fish even though conditions were not most favorable and we still got it done! Had a blast!
