Captain Justin was professional and took good care of my family. My kids (ages 10, 8 and 6) had a great time. His price was the best we found. When the fish weren’t biting, Captain Justin was nice enough to show my kids several dolphins.

We originally planned on a Sunday trip but the weather didn’t cooperate.  They kept us informed and we rescheduled for Tuesday morning.  They were very accommodating to us and allowed us to get a late start.  (had a wedding the day before and knew an early start would be difficult).

We caught a lot of fish, including 3 or 4 very large fish.  I was under the impression that a half day would be around 4 hours.  I believe we were actually out around 5.5 or 6 hours.  They never acted like the clock was running.

Great people and great guide service.  Will be using again in the future!!

Complete disappointment!!! After many delays, we finally were able to go out on the boat, but Justin (who doesn’t deserve the title captain) didn’t speak or even ask our names. Biggest disappointment of our spring break trip & biggest waste of money. Will never waste out time or $ with this company again!!

I am an experienced fisherman with over 10 years of fishing off shore and inland. This trip, I chose to bring along a young lady who had never been off shore fishing before. Initially, my first conversation with Paradise Charters was so confusing, I got the feeling that he wasn’t too enthused to take us out the following day. Eventually he agreed to contact me later in the day for confirmation, a text came later saying to meet him at it around sun up at a pier nearby. The next morning I called to say we were on our way. He informed me that he would be later than said as he was just leaving his residence and that he would need extra time, very disappointing. He arrived at the pier just as we were, no greeting, no politeness, nothing. He then motored to another spot in the sound to cast for live bait, dismal results, maybe a dozen croakers if that. Made no mention that he planned to use lures or that he had other types of bait on board. I could go on and on but I won’t , simply put we spent more time moving from one spot to another without any explaination , we did find some mahi mahi, he would land the fish and hand off to my guest which was fine but Inws not offered a rod to fish for myself, I’ve fished for caught mahi mahi numerous times and am well versed in how to fish for them but as I said he spoke very little to us so we never knew what we were supposed to do. In other spots we caught fish we couldn’t keep, for instance Triggers, small snapper, ect.
I realize that fishing in the gulf is not a given on any day, however I have been to nearby piers to judge what others were catching and they seemed to have no problem catching fish that could be kept. We spent more time traveling from one so called honey spot to another only to stay a minute or two and then off to another so called honey spot. whennasked if we were marking fish, he said nothing or that we would be drifting over some shortly, what the heck did that mean???. Overall Capt. Justin Simmons may be a good charter captain, I have no way of knowing that , all I know is that my guest who was taking her first off shore fishing experience let me know that if that is what charter fishing is like, then she will not be going again, I assured her that she should not paint them all with the same brush, I have been on numerous trips with excellent results and had exceeded my expectations. I would like to think that Capt. Simmons was just having a bad day, I only wish he had it on another day than ours.

Captain Justin was awesome. He took care of everything. We caught 8 red snapper on our trip and he cleaned them for us. Would definitely go out and fish with him again. Thanks for a great time.

Had a great time deep sea fishing with Capt Justin.  He did a great job putting us on some awesome Snapper and a Cobia. Took my elderly father and 14 year old nephew and he made it a wonderful trip for both of them.  Would definitely book him again next time I’m here.

Captain Justin made our trip truly the best day of vacation we’ve had so far. He kept things fun and entertaining.  Even though the fish weren’t cooperating he still managed to get all 4 of our kids to catch at least 1. The boat ride was a blast.  Our faces were sore from smiling so much :) The blue angels started flying and he moved us to an area where we got a closer view of them. To top it all off we stopped on the way back to watch the dolphins swim. There was the cutest little baby dolphin. Captain Justin was so patient and positive about every aspect of our trip. Everyone agrees in our family that this was our favorite part of vacation so far! Thank you Captain Justin for a wonderful day!

We had a great experience with Capt Justin, he was on friendly and very professional. We have two boys and one of them don’t really enjoy fishing, but Justin kept him engaged and happy. My husband and my older son were very happy with the fishing. We highly recommend him.

We decided we wanted to take the girls fishing spur of the moment (on a short vacation from Arkansas)—a guy at the hotel recommended Captain Justin so we called him up—he was very accommodating especially being last minute reservations.  Boat was clean—well organized.  Justin was very friendly and fun.  We caught several fish that we thought was big and he threw back—-LOL only had a certain limit but we ended up catching much larger snappers.  They put up a fight for sure!  He kept all four of our polls baited and ready at all times.  he was quick at getting that done for us.  When the fishing was over he took us to see the stingrays swimming——the HIGHLIGHT of my trip was the dolphins.  He stopped the boat and the dolphins came up and he was feeding them—there were even babies with them. He asked us not to touch them for our safety but they were just right there at arms length. That was a huge surprise for me and the kids because that was not expected when we booked the trip.  We returned to the dock and Justin cleaned and bagged our fish for us.  Overall the trip was fantastic—tons of fun and experiences in a few hours.  Would for sure book another trip with Captain Justin Simmons.

We had a wonderful day out on the water!  Justin our Captain was right on time, and knew what to do to find the fish.  Everyone on the boat landed one.  The boat was clean and had enough room for the 5 of us.
I would recommend this Captain to anyone looking to fish the waters of Pensacola.

Capt. Justin was very helpful and friendly. He seems to adapt well to any level of experience, from beginner to seasoned angler. Not only is he an excellent guide but also keeps everyone entertained.

He really kept everyone very interested. A very welcome surprise to see the children take such interest.

I will be back and make this a definite stop for years to come.

You can’t go wrong with Capt. Justin and Paradise Fishing Charters.

We left out early and stayed longer than we paid for. This captain knows his fishing. He took us to several spots and we caught fish in every one of them. We were actually culling fish by our 2nd hour and the ones we brought in were way above expectations. I will be going with Cpt. Justin Simmons again and would recommend him if you want an enjoyable fishing experience. He even took the time on the way in to stop and feed the dolphins, which was an experience in itself. Thank you cpt.  Simmons. I will see you again

The boat was in good shape, fishing poles were a little worn. The guide did seem hurried in running to several places instead of spending a little more time at each place. He seemed knowledgable and experienced. Will likely go out to deeper water next time.
