We went for Halibut and Rock Fish out of Homer. The boat is phenomenal. Very comfortable and the gyro system really does work to make the roll basically non existent. The Captain was very knowledgeable and friendly. Knew exactly where to go to put is on the fish. We started with boat limits of our big halibut, then switched to rock fish with full limits, then wrapped up the day with full limits of our smaller halibut. Saw plenty of whales along the way and the Captain slowed to point them out. Deck hand was awesome and worked the whole time to make sure everyone’s gear was in great shape, gave good pointers, and was right on it to land fish. He filleted our catch with care and was very good answering all of our questions. For those who need fish processing they have the processor literally come to the boat to pick it up for you. Just a phenomenal experience. These guys are top notch.

My boyfriend and I went on this excursion and loved the fishing experience! We had two experienced captains and a hard working fisherwoman who got all the bait chopped and ready for the hooks! Crew was excellent at helping us with reeling tips, unhooking and displaying our catch for great pictures! Also had a fish processor meet at the dock who took cut fish from crew. We picked up the next morning and checked box on our flight.
We did share boat with 2 couples who brought very young children which was awkward for our experience (loud crying and having to step around). We were surprised that there wasn’t an age minimum.

fishing charter was a reel-y good time! We hauled in halibut, cod, and rockfish like we were on a seafood shopping spree. The crew? Absolutely fin-tastic – they knew the best spots, untangled our lines without flinching, and even laughed at our fish puns. (Lot 🦎) We’ll definitely be casting our lines with them again next year. If you’re looking for a boatload of fun and fish, this is the plaice to be!

I was a little worried booking a 3/4 day charter with a large group thinking we might be better to split apart and take a longer more typical full day charter. However the boat was great, the crew was amazing, and most importantly we got to stay together as a family. All of us limiting out on fish and getting back early was just a bonus. Would definitely recommend!

The captain and his crew were awesome we caught halibut, which were our targeted fish and even though he didn’t have to he took us to a spot since we had time left to catch cod, and boy did we catch cod! We left with 48 fillets of halibut for our family and at least 36 cod filets. Don’t forget to tip! They are freaking awesome!
