  6 Hour Trip on August 15, 2026 • 2 adults

  Carlos and the capricho crew were great hosts, met us at the dock promptly and ready with licenses and bait arranged prior. Slower August day on the water, but got us hitting on Bonitos right away in the depths. We were after a Mahi, and Carlos helped us land one closer in towards the end of the trip. Pointed us in the right dieection to get it cooked fresh across the street. Sushi, Ceviche, Grilled, and fried. Delicious. Great trip, would book again with Rodrigo and crew in an instant.

  We fished for the first time ever in Cabo with Carlos and Captain David. They were kind, helpful and knowledgeable about the fishing experience. Boat was spacious and we made a few catches in the afternoon. Had a great time with them and will definitley be back and ask for them!

  Catching fish with Captain Carlos[aka. Charly Tuna]

  6 Hour Trip on February 1, 2026 • 2 adults

  My buddy and I had a great fishing trip and made some fabulous memories with Captain Carlos. Captain Carlos was very knowledgeable and got us to the reef and put us on fish right away. Caught lots of Grouper, Whitefish, Snapper and even a couple of Scorpion fish. Ended the fishing adventure with a ~120lb Yellow Fin. 45 minutes to bring that beast in, but what blast. Highly recommend Captain Carlos and leaving out of San Jose. Much prefer going out of San Jose, Del Cabo rather then San Lucas. Will definitely charter Charly Tuna again the next time we are in Cabo! Thanks!

  Another Epic Trip in Cabo

  This is my third time with this particular outfit and definitely did not disappoint. Trolling yielded some good fish but bottom fishing was the best. Took home great table fares. Will definitely book with this outfit and captain again.

  Great 6 hour trip

  6 Hour Trip (AM) on March 3, 2026 • 2 adults

  Boat has a cabin with enclosed toilet which is great since my wife was on the trip. Day started out slow but David put us on the fish over the Gordo Bank. We caught 6 trigger fish, 4 bonito(5lbs each) 2 snappers(great for lunch) 1 small yellowtail, and best of all my wife caught a 4 foot Hammerhead Shark. We have already booked again for our return in November. Thanks Captain David!
