Capt. Dan Flaming Gorge Fishing Guide

fishing was slow but the experience was amazing.

prettiest place

Took my 11 yr pld grandson out for the day. The experience was far better than the expectations. Dan was amazing with my Grandson and helped him catch a Lake Trout that waa Gigantic. 40+lbs and 43+ inches. Created a lifelong memory for my grandson. 5 stars all around.

A Perfect Fishing Day

We had a fantastic day with Capt Dan. He knew where to go and showed us the ropes. He was fun and knowledgeable! Definitely recommend this trip!

Amazing fish trip

Caught a GREAT lake trout, lots of salmon and the captain is so great too! Watching my kids experience this was the best.

So worth it !!

Better than I had hoped. Five of us limited out on salmon within 3 hours then we caught a monster laker before we pulled off the water. It was awesome.

Crushed it!

Friendly and informative and great with kids

Hooked 7 salmon and netted 5

Although we didn’t walk away with a great big laker Dan effortlessly got us into some good size Kokanee and pups. Dan is personable and taught us the ropes to hopefully try to catch a big one on our own. Will be going back yearly!

Lots of fish, Great captain

I had booked Captain Dan for a first-time trip with my son and granddaughter, but wasn't able to get to Flaming Gorge myself. My son reported a spectacular experience, catching around 20 kokanee as well as some lakers. My granddaughter loved Captain Dan and can't wait to go back again. We may make this an annual affair, only with all 3 of us fishing.

Spectacular Experience

Capt Dan works really hard to get you on the fish. Great equipment snd outstanding boat. He is excellent .
