At first the jig bite was slow and we only managed to land one walleye. But Captain Billy made the right call and switched us over to trolling, and it paid off big time. And we ended up with a solid haul of nice walleye and had a blast doing so! Would definitely recommend to anyone and will be doing again.

My son and I booked the 7-noon trip.  We started out slow until he landed a huge muskie while fishing on walleye gear.  Billy (captain) was pleased with that, but we still didn’t have other fish.  He was not going to give up.  His knowledge and persistence allowed us to end the day with 10 great sized walleye (and three meals)!  He was great to fish with.  Very down to earth and personable.  He’s my first call next time we want to go out!

Billy was knowledgeable regarding the River but provided us with an amazing experience. As a first time fisher, I appreciated not just the experience of successfully catching fish but the education Billy provided. He also was a fount of knowledge concerning progression in other domains of fishing. He was down-to-earth and really seemed to love the pursuit of fishing. I would highly recommend Billy and his small boat for any Detroit River excursion.

Mly fiance bought my son and I this trip for my birthday, and I must say, it was well worth it! The captain has a great demeanor and is very knowledgeable, and the boat was nice and well kept. I would definitely recommend. We already planned to go out again next year. I’m looking forward to it!
