Esley was able to pick us up at the dock of our airbnb on time. we went and cast netted some live bait and almost immediately caught some baracuda. we probally caught 8 baracuda in about 1.5 hours. Then we went to snapper fish pulling in 2 lane snapper and one mutton. Then we went diving lobster hotels and ended up with 13 keeper lobster. after this we went searching for conch. we ended up with 4 in about an hour. after this we went to the reserve and snorkled with sharks/stingrays/fish/etc in... Saw some fly fish and several dolphins on the way out. Started with catching a few Barracudas. Got a Mahi Mahi on the line and it was almost up when a quite big Lemon Shark took the Mahi Mahi and got on the hook and we took it in and then released it. Two Tunas was on the hook but where lost at least one due to a now following Lemon Shark. Caught two Mahi Mahi of which one was big (and a mackerel). All of this turned into really good Sashimi, Cerviche, fried and curry!!

esley came to our dock to pick us up. we did a full day deepsea. getting out past the reef was tricky due to larger than normal waves. Once we got out there it was game on. we ended up cathcing 12 fish. mahi mahi and barracuda. once we docked, Esley filleted one of our fish so we could take it to Reinas and have it cooked for us. All in all, a great time fishing.

First of all, Elsey was an amazing captain who was super friendly and knowledgeable. I brought in a sailfish within the first 10 min of the trip. Next, a large barracuda. After a few more hours of trolling, we decided to move to the reef where we pulled in a bunch more barracuda and a horse eye jack. Elsey cleaned the cuda for us and suggested we bring it to Pelican Sunset to cook it for us. Great call! I would definitely recommend Elsey and will book him again next time... More

We are staying on the north side of Caye Caulker.  The captain met us right at our own dock. We first went for some live bait. He found a spot and cast his net and caught a bunch of sardines.  We were impressed with how easily he was able to round up some live bait. Then we were off and on our way.  There were huge waves to get past as we were trying to get past the reef for some deep water fishing.  He did a great job, and we felt very safe.
