From a small boy living on an island of Caye Caulker, I loved the Caribbean Waters. My father taught me everything I know. I started fishing when I was 14 years old and from there on my life has always been about fishing. I know the waters around Caye Caulker like the back of my hand. I have shown many of my clients some of the best experiences in these beautiful waters of Caye Caulker, Belize. You never know what to expect! Please note that Caye Caulker is 45 minutes away from Belize City. For cruise ship passengers interested in fishing with me, you would have to take the water taxi from Belize City to Caye Caulker - and you would only have time for a half day fishing then take the water taxi once again to get back to Belize City port on time!

Full Day Deep Sea Fishing • 2 adultsIt was ah-mazing. We knew from recommendations that Esley was a Caye Caulker treasure and the best at his passion of angling in the gorgeous Belize waters. Esley picked us up at our hotel dock at 8 a.m. sharp, and took us to a mangrove well north of the split where he cast a net and caught our live bait for the day. Esley is patient, knowledgeable, and kind. My son caught his dream fish - two feisty barracuda and 1 mahi-mahi (which Esley cleaned for us at the dock to have our hotel chef for our dinner). But! The best fishing moment of our lives was when we caught a trophy-sized blue marlin. It put up a non-stop fight for its life; breaching the water and then diving deep under the boat. With expert help maneuvering the boat and guidance, and a 2 hour fight, we brought the 250-300lb, 10-foot-long blue marlin to the side of the boat, removed the hook, and released the most magnificent creature we have ever seen. We can’t recommend Esley enough and will definitely be back. Do not hesitate to book this incredible captain and his boat. He is the best in Belize! Thank you, Esley

Half Day Trip - Reef (PM) • 1 adultI went out with Esley Usher on a 4 hour reef fishing trip on April 19th and we caught 14 Lane Snapper in 4 different locations near the reef. It was a Sunday afternoon and I was the solo guest. He picked me in his boat at my hotel's pier. Esley is a life long Caye Caulker expert and knows these waters! If you want to CATCH FISH go out with Esley.

Full Day Deep Sea Fishing • 2 adultsWe really didn't expect to make this trip, we had to reschedule a few times due to outside reasons. We finally hooked up with Esley yesterday and could not be more thrilled with the results. For most of the day we were hooking into Bonito 2 or 3 at a time.. Once the late afternoon bite hit though it was on, first the Barracuda then the Wahoo, amazing fight, amazing adventure, amazing memory!! Thanks again for all the hard work, flexibility, and knowledge!!

Fisherman's Tour (seasonal) • 2 adultswe had such a great day fishing! started the day trolling and caught barracuda and a few other fishes. then went on to look for snapper and seemed to find everything but those, but had fun reeling up what was biting on our bait. the snorkeling for lobster was fun, too! in the end, Elsy fileted up some of the fish and recommend some of the local restaurants that would cook it up for us. recommend Esly for a great day of fishing!

Fishing with awesome israelian friends!

We had an awesome time in on our half day reef fishing tour! Took them to the best reef spots around Caye Caulker and every spot landed a couple of bites! My clients enjoyed cruising around and having good conversations while learning about my years of fishing and about the island of Caye Caulker! They fed the Tarpons and I cleaned all their catch so that they can enjoy for dinner! They were great clients who were easy going! We ended with some nice pictures with them happy to have gone out fishing with me!

Fishing With Christopher and Family!!

Christopher and his family went fishing with me on a half day reef fishing. They were great clients and they expected to catch the best catches! I took them to one of my favorite spots for red snappers since they wanted some to eat for dinner! We landed so many snapper and we had a great time with all of them! At first it was only 3 family members who wanted to go fishing....in the end 5 of the family member went fishing and were glad they had an awesome time!

Family fun day snorkeling/fishing combo!

This wonderful family went out to snorkel and fishing and got lucky! They enjoyed snorkeling at one of the best places! Not only did they see lots of marine life, but they also were visited real close by a beautiful turtle and a manatee. The kids enjoyed their snorkel trip....but the day was not over yet. We went to do a half day of fishing and caught a nice size barracuda which was apart from our usual snappers! ;) incredible day filled with so activities including feeding the Tarpons which the kids really enjoyed!

Father & son fishing trip- Jeff & Gavin!

Jeff and Gavin went out on a deep sea fishing experience with me! They were awesome! Both son and dad landed really nice snappers and other fish! The big catch tho came when they landed a Big Grouper! It was a nice fight and they were so proud of this catch! They really enjoyed their time fishing and it was a father son experience they will never forget!

Very nice couple. I took them out around the island where we stopped at different hotspots for some snapper fishing. Even though the weather was beautiful, the waters were not too calm as the wind seemed to be going no where down. Ellie then landed a nice size barracuda about 19lbs or so which she enjoyed fighting and reeling in. We then cruised around the island where they were able to see the opening to one of the biggest underwater cave systems here on the island of Caye Caulker and then they were able to feed the Tarpons at the Tarpon mini reserve. Our day was amazing. I then cleaned up some of their catch along with the barracuda for me to take to the restaurant (Rose's Grill & Bar which specializes in sea food) where they enjoyed their catch of the day for dinner!

Troy and his family have been coming to Caye Caulker for about 7 years and they have been going out fishing with me every time they come back to the island! They are a wonderful family and troy has been a good buddy to take out fishing! I met his entire family this last time we went fishing and we got some great catch! We also went around cruising the island !
