My dad came to visit from Tennessee and he’s fixing to turn 82 so I had to make sure he had a great time. I knew it being so hot here in August that it would be hard to catch anything, WOW was I wrong. Captain Jason took us out and it was amazing. My dad caught 3 nice reds and I haven’t had a bite yet lol. The bite got slow so Jason took us to another spot, first cast another nice red, well long story short we had a blast I think in the 4 hours we where out there we caught 9 or 10 nice red fish. Prior to our trip Captain Jason kept in touch with me letting me know about the water conditions and how the fish where biting, I really appreciated that. Captain Jason really went out of his way to make sure we were informed about everything he was doing and how we are doing it. I can’t say enough how happy I am to have this amazing fishing with my dad. Thanks Captain Jason for making these great memories last forever. You will be having me back real soon for another great fishing trip.

After our deep sea trip was canceled last minute with another charter, we booked an inshore fishing trip with JC Fishin Charters—and we’re so glad we did! Jason was fantastic from start to finish. Everything went smoothly, from pick-up to drop-off.

We were a group of four, ages 14 to 85, and two of us had never fished before. I caught my first fish within a minute of casting, and the 14-year-old had four in no time! Jason clearly knew where to find the fish and didn’t waste time in slow spots, which kept things fun and exciting for everyone.

Even my 85-year-old dad, a lifelong fisherman, was impressed with Jason’s knowledge and really appreciated the more intimate experience of a smaller group. The boat was clean and comfortable, and Jason made the whole trip feel like we were out fishing with a friend—he even remembered all our names after the initial introductions.

The 14-year-old, who was unsure about coming, had an absolute blast. Jason handled all the baiting, casting, and netting, so it was easy for beginners to jump in and enjoy. We chose catch and release, but Jason will clean and filet your catch if you prefer to keep it.

I got a tip from a Winn Dixie cashier in Dunedin about the best fishing captain in the area. I tried out the 2 hour trip, which i had never heard of but I only had limited time and money so it was a perfect fit for me.

Jason is the most kind, courteous, and knowledgeable captain I’ve ever met. He’s young, energetic, hungry to catch fish, and he was adamant about showing me a good time. I’ll be bringing my niece back next time I’m in Florida to have him teach her how to fish like a pro. Highly recommended
