Hi Sarah and I’m sorry you felt that way ,I do Try to encourage you guys to do it all but that is also my job as the guide to run around and bait hooks and throw out and check baits etc I will always do that unless you guys want too .I explain the hook set up and how it all works .you are certainly most welcome to throw out the lines and bait them yourselves that’s never been an issue on our trips and if I remember correctly I did say that,when we first threw out . also and the older gentleman threw the line several times and wound them in as well .unfortunately the fishing was slow ,we did manage to turn a reel ,but sometimes that’s fishing ,and we also did an extra 1/2hr as well ,that always seems to get overlooked as well .however I will take your feed back on board enjoy the rest of your stay here in cairns cheers Gavin cairns sportfishing
