I’ve fished several times over the past year, In Florida and Lake Champlain with Captain Mick Maynard. He’s taught me a number of successful techniques fishing artificial baits.Species I’ve caught with him include Florida strain lg. mouth bass, bowfin, pickerel, crappie. On lake Champlain I caught smallmouth bass, largemouth bass,and northern pike. Mick is patience, knowledgeable and professional.

I’ve booked Capt. Mick on two occasions and they were both outstanding. Exceeded limits each time and several bass in the 4-5 lb. range. Mick has unique presentation methods that were successful. I learned a lot about fishing different techniques that catch big bass. Mick is an experienced guide that enjoys sharing his fishing knowledge. I highly recommend him.

Let me fish from the front of the boat. Capn is a crank bait fisherman and I like to fish plastics. Capn Mick spent most of the time finding me water that worked for fishing plastics. Means he listens to his clients. Good guide.
