Every summer, my grandson Fritz and I take a special vacation together, just the two of us—a tradition that means the world to both of us. This year, one of the highlights of our trip was a day spent fishing with Red Alert Fishing Charter in Melbourne, Florida, and what a day it was!

From the moment we set out, Captain Kenny had us busy reeling in a variety of fish. He was knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about what he does. With his help, we caught an amazing spread of species—Redfish, Black Drum, Atlantic Spadefish, Mangrove Snapper, Sheepshead, and even some Pinfish. Each catch brought smiles, laughs, and stories we’ll be telling for years.

This wasn’t just a fishing trip—it was a memory-making experience. Watching my grandson’s face light up with each tug on the line was priceless. We both learned a lot and had so much fun together.

2 adults and 2 kids went along. We all caught fish. Would have caught many more if we were better fishermen. Lots of hits and some really big hookups. Captain Kenneth was absolutely fantastic with the kids even the big ones. He
was very patient with each of us He took us to multiple locations to try for larger fish and other species. We highly recommend Red Alert charters and Captain Ken and we will use him again. We had a blast!!

Kenneth was a great guide and had a lot of knowledge of the area and where to fish. He took us to different spots and was very addiment that we were going to catch fish and we did. He provided the tackle, bait and water and soda. The meeting spot was easy to find. My bonus son and I had a great time and can’t wait for our next trip to Florida to fish with Kenneth.

Capt. Kenny was great. Did a 6 hour trip with my 2 grandsons. The Capt was great with the kids. My 8 year old caught his first snook, reddish and drum and completed the slam with a trout. Took plenty of fish home.  Capt even jumped in the water to help my other grandson land a 27 inch drum. His biggest fish ever. Being from south Louisiana and fishing along I can’t btag enough about the job Capt. Kenny did. Strongly recommend him if your looking for a great experience

We had a great time fishing with Captain Ken today. Got to catch some big Black Drum and a Mangrove Snapper which tasted delicious. Captain Ken was ready to go with all the bait and equipment needed for a day on the water.  He took us to a number of places to fish and was very knowledgeable about the various types of fish and taught us the best fishing techniques to use.  We would recommend him to anyone looking for a great day of fishing.
