- Background
- I grew up on fish river, which is tributary to weeks bay, mobile bay and essentially goes into the Gulf of Mexico. My family owned River Park Marina, which is currently known as Big Daddy’s restaurant. I have fished the surrounding area waters since I was old enough to hold a fishing pole. Fishing is just part of my upbringing. We love to fish and always will. The joy of feeling the tug on the end of the line, is great. The best experience is seeing people new to fishing, enjoy that same feeling. The best reward is seeing kids experiencing the thrill of catching fish and grinning from ear to ear.
- Techniques
- I am really not set in one way of fishing. My favorite style of fishing is catching. Willing to do whatever, technique, tackle or bait to bring them in the boat. In the summer months popping corks and live bait tend to work best, or is the most popular choice, in getting fish in the cooler.
