Being on the water has been a true passion of mine my entire life. I have experience offshore in the Gulf of Mexico and catching hybrid bass and striped bass on Lake Lanier/ Lake Hartwell. Top Hook Fishing Charters is family-owned and operated by Greg Lanier. I am a husband and father of 3 who enjoys taking both kids and adults out on the water. Chasing the experience of reeling in a once in a lifetime catch never gets old and I enjoy being able to allow others the opportunity.     Great time Father and Son fishing

    Half Day Trip – Striped Bass (PM) • 2 adults

    My son and I did a weekend trip in the mountains and wanted to end the trip on the way back to South Carolina with doing some fishing. We booked an afternoon trip with Top Hook Fishing Charters. This was our first time fishing Hartwell. Captain Greg was awesome! Even though there were afternoon storms popping up around the lake. He had the experience to navigate around them and still put us on fish. He is all about making sure you catch fish! We hat great time catching some nice hybrid and stripers. He has nice boat and top-notch gear. I would highly recommend him! We are going to plan another trip with him even though we were from out of town. He is very personal and by the time you finish fishing you will feel like you were out there with a friend.

    Great Striper trip!!

    Half Day Trip – Striped Bass (AM) • 2 adults

    My son and I had a super fun Striper trip today with Captain Greg of Top Hook Charters. Greg is personable, very professional, loves to teach and he is passionate about you catching stripers. The Sea Hunt 22 foot center console boat and all the equipment are top notch, as is the herring baitwell. Greg is an engaged Captain, constantly working to put you on big fish. Even picky about the herring he selects for each trip! We could not have had a better Captain or a more memorable trip anywhere. Highly recommend Top Hook Charters for your next Striper outing. 5+ star!!

    Big Fish on Lake Hartwell

    Half Day Trip – Striped Bass (AM) • 4 adults

    Booked a half day outing and left promptly at 6am. We're putting fish in the boat less than an hour later. We caught some of the bigger fish I have seen on Lake Hartwell. Caught fish pretty steady for the majority of time we were out. Kept some fish and the captain cleaned them onboard. Would highly recommend!

    Great guide and great boat!

    Half Day Trip – Striped Bass (AM) • 2 adults

    Greg took us out for a half-day on a lake Hartwell, and we caught several nice stripers. His Sea Hunt with a 200 Yamaha was very well equipped and he was able to put us on a lot of fish. We’ll definitely call on him the next time we want to go out.
