From the start of the day me and wife to be felt comfortable.  I have been coming to Puerto Vallarta for 18 yrs and haven’t been disappointed. To sum up the day I didn’t have cash and that was my fault for not being prepared so he drove us about 5min to the bank so I could get the funds. Great people and would recommend and also go out again with them.

I had a great day on the water with Alejandro and Nacho! We only managed to get one decent sized Jack Crevalle and a small Spanish Mackerel into the boat, but we saw a lot of Humpback whales and dolphins swimming all around us, which helped to make up for the fact that the fish were not cooperating! Alejandro and Nacho gave us the best fishing experience you could ask for. Even before the trip. He responded to all of our text and questions very quickly! The most fun and easiest fishing trip I have ever been on. We all caught some nice fish and since we didn’t want to keep them, Alejandro made the best ceviche for us on the boat for the ride back home. I couldn’t have asked for a better fishing charter. We all look for to coming back and doing it all again!

I’ve been on competitor boats in the same area.  Sol Y Mar was excellent - they used high-quality live bait, which stayed alive while trolling for over an hour. Within two minutes of dropping the first line in the water, we got our first fish. Captain and crew were very helpful. We got straight on the boat and away we went. We caught some Jack right off the bat and they made ceviche with the first fish. It was very delicious and as fresh as fresh could be. We went a bit deeper out and caught a Rooster fish that was very cool. All in all, a great trip, very personable, professional and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.
