Trevor was excellent in understanding each person’s fishing level and goal for our adventure.  Taught us about snook, barracuda, sharks & catfish.  No one minded releasing their catch back into the water- the fun was casting and reeling in another. Thanks- we’ll be back!

Captain Chris was a true professional. He not only got us onto the fish but explained everything we had to do and why we did it for my 8 year old son’s benefit. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, not to mention I had fun as well! Thanks Captain Chris!

Captain was phenomenal.  Baited our rods, fixed all tangles, and took us all over looking for a good spot.  Unfortunately we spent too much time looking as the fishing was unexpectedly horrendous… not the captains fault at all, it just wasn’t the experience I was looking for.  I booked a tour of the Myakka but upon recommendation that fishing was better up in the bay, we decided to do that.  Was looking for something more exciting than bottom fishing and wanted to avoid big bodies of water... More

red tide drove us from a leisurely cruise down the Myakka River to a run out to deep water in the gulf.  Capt Eryk explained our choices and gave us the forecast of swells in the gulf.  ran out ~13 miles, found a site where the fish were hitting and pulled in snapper, corgy, and small grouper (not able to keep the grouper).  ride back in was an adventure.  don’t know that I’d do it again in the 21’ boat with one 115 HP engine, but i’d ask for Capt Eryk every time.

What a day! Dodged storms in the morning and man what a day it turned out to be. Caught trout in morning chased some snook, and turned our sights to bigger fish and let me just say Chris did not disappoint! Red snapper, flounder, and we ended the day with a Goliath Grouper! 10/10 will be using again!!!!! Thanks Chris for the memories!
