We departed promptly at our scheduled time after Captain Will and F.M. Jake introduced themselves, welcomed us aboard and asked if we were ready to have a good time catching fish. Less than 5 minutes of arriving to the first “honey hole” we were on the fish!! My son was the first angler on board to reel in a keeper Black Drum, whose was delicious for dinner that night. Captain Will and F.M. explained where we should be casting for the best opportunities to catch, and they let all of us on board do as much of the actual fishing as we wanted, casting, watching the rods for bites and actually catching the fish ourselves!!
My brother and I have gone on other Charters in the St Augustine and Miami areas, none came anywhere close to the professional, humble, accommodating experience that we enjoyed on this trip, not even close to be honest.
Will and Jake are both former Marines, they are great men who graciously shared their knowledge of fishing the St. Augustine waters with some northern fresh water anglers and we had the best time. I would give give Old Coast Charters a 10 out of 5, these guys were amazing!!
We caught a cooler full of fish as well, Snapper, Drum, Sea Bass and even the cutest puffer fish ever!!
We even saw dolphins that were swimming 10ft from the boat!!! You will be so happy that you booked this trip, great memories for our family!!

My two sons (11 and 8) and I went on a 4 hour fishing trip with Captain Will and his mate, Jake.  We had an absolutely phenomenal time.  We caught over 15 fish, had great conversation and an absolute brilliant time.  It couldnt have gone better.  They were so kind and engaging to the kids and so helpful and full of knowledge.  They knew all the great spots and we caught like 7 or 8 different species.  From black drums to red fish to grouper.  Absolute top notch charter with top notch instruction.  Keep up the awesome work guys.  Can’t wait to do it again soon!!!

What a great day! Captain Will showed up right on time, bait already at hand. He was fun, personable, and incredibly friendly, gracious and patient with my two grandkids, age 10 and 7. We had a wonderful day and caught a lot of fish, most of them keepers.  By the end of the day I felt like I’d known Will for years. His first mate, Jake, was great as well. He kept rods baited, was great with the grandkids, and effortlessly cleaned and iced our fish. Captain Will is absolutely going to be my first call next time we want to fish in St. Augustine!

Capt Will & First Mate Jake gave us an excellent introduction to costal fishing. We had several circumstances that could have cancelled our adventure, but Will was very communicative and made it happen. We enjoyed a late afternoon/early evening that was overcast & windy. Nevertheless, on first cast, my husband brought in a large redfish. Amazing start to an amazing family excursion! If you are not sure, just make the reservation & do it. You won’t regret your decision or forget the memories!!! 🎣

Two of my sons and myself went out with Old Coast for a beautiful afternoon trip on their comfortable 30 footer. Water was still frigid from cold spell but Capt actually found us some fish. Regardless, it was awesome cruising and fishing the Augustine bridges and structures on a perfect evening. Looking forward to our next trip on Old Coast.
