Ryan and his crew know what they are doing.  Ryan always stays in the know where fish are AND what presentations will catch them.  He uses a wide variety of techniques to do this including using copper, wire, lead core, braid and mono spooled rods as well as implementing down riggers and dipsy divers to get to where the fish are.  His rods and lures are all first rate also.  I learned a lot going on his boat even after fishing on my own for many years.

Captain Ryan genuinely cared about our entire experience on his boat, not just catching fish. He made sure we were all comfortable and answered a ton of questions. His fishing knowledge and skills are excellent. We came away with a cooler full of king salmon.

We had an awesome time with Captain Ryan and First Mate Brody! Even with rough conditions, they got us on fish, made the trip a good experience and kept our safety the highest priority. They were especially great with our young boys—it was their first charter, and they haven’t stopped talking about how it was the best day ever. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a great fishing trip!

Had a good time bite was slow to nonexistent but Capt persevered and stuck it out we landed Kings and had a great trip. Back at the cleaning station we learned most other boats had little to no luck. Highly recommend Hot Pursuit Charters.

We had two great days fishing with Cpt. Ryan!  He worked hard to keep us on fish.  Fantastic fishing for king salmon and steelhead.  Professional crew, nice boat and a great time both days.  Couldn’t have been any better.
