My dad is the person responsible for taking me fishing and helping me become the dedicated person I am. I grew up fishing the lakes, ponds, and rivers throughout Maryland and Delaware. Eventually, I began venturing out to the open waters of the Atlantic from New England around to The Gulf of Mexico. Fishing to me was fun at first, then it became challenging, and now it is passion. There is nothing like seeing the bend in the rod and the tug on the line.

    Best captain and first mate on the bay!

    Full Day Trip • 6 adults

    Captain D and his longtime friend and first mate, Kevin are an unbelievable power duo! Not only did they put us on the rock fish immediately, but they made the entire experience so much fun. We even spent time fishing for little spot to fill the bait tank and that was a blast. I have fished on many charter boats, but I have never fished with a team that brought so much positive energy. By the way, we caught our limit on rockfish. Within the first hour, and then we caught about one hundred and fifty spot, baby stripers, little bluefish, and even one speckled sea trout.

    Beautiful morning on the Cheasepeake

    Half Day Trip • 5 adults

    Capt. D and Prime Time were exactly what we were looking for. On a whim my son wanted to see if we could spend a few hours on the water on our way back to our normal fishing grounds near Boston. So, we found Capt. D and the Prime Time. Spent 4 hours on a perfect Sunday morning chasing ground fish, took a pile home and had a great time. We had friends with us, some of whom had never held a rod, and Capt D was fantastic. Couldn't recommend him highly enough!

    Amazing Fishing Trip with Captain Darnell!

    Captain Darnell and Kevin were absolutely amazing! They were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire trip enjoyable from start to finish. They knew exactly where to take us, and we started catching fish almost immediately. We had a blast, and the trip was also relaxing and stress-free. We can’t wait to go again and would highly recommend booking a trip with Captain Darnell to anyone looking for a great day on the water!

    Captain Dee was kind, patient, and knows where the fish are. We all caught nice sized Stripers ! Will definitle be using Prime Time Charters again!!

    Great Trip with the Boys

    Half Day Trip • 6 adults

    Went out with Captain Darnell as part of bachelor party weekend. Darnell was generous with his bait, very knowledgeable, and we came away with some nice Perch. Striped bass didnt bite but we gave it our best. Darnell is super easy going, excellent at what he does, and great to hang with. Highly recommend.

Light tackle fishing for stripe bass cannot get any better. This is some of the best fishing we have seen in years. There is also some large white perch showing up as well. Fishing only gets better from here.

Fishing on the potomac has been nothing short of spectacular. The action that we receive on these trips as absolutely unbelievable. Currently, we have been catching blue catfish and excessive 50 pounds.With a lot of them in the teens. Migratory shad, striper and white perch have also been in the area. Awesome Fall Fishing

Striped bass limits and migrating white perch. Fall trolling trips have been superb. Mixed size striped bass up to 36in have been keepung the patrons busy. Full trips top off the trip with white perch fishing. I cant imagine it could get any better. Lets make a memory Capt Dee

This season has been nothing short of superb. Fish up to 40lbs have been boated on each trip. These fish are extremely hungry and we have been in the right place at the right time. Most of the trip we are catching fish. At time there has been 2 and 3 fish on at a time. These fish are very delicious table fare and extremely fun to catch. Come join in on the fun
