Captain Darnell Greenways' Prime Time Charters has been a favorite choice of many anglers fishing the coast of Maryland. On his first listing, Capt. Darnell offers a variety of fishing trips out of Stevensville, with season ending at the end of December. Now, you have the chance to fish with him in March and April as well!
This adventure takes you to Havre De Grace, MD, where you can explore the Scenic view of Perryville and Port Deposit on Tidal Susquehanna River. Enjoy its Beautiful scenery, lots of hard-fighting fish, all while enjoying a day on the water – it hardly gets better than that.
You'll be fishing on a 26' Angler boat that accommodates up to 3 guests. She's powered by twin 140 HP Suzuki engines that reach the speed of 25 knots if necessary. The boat features all necessary safety gear, navigational electronics, a live bait tank, and a cooler.
Target Big Blue Catfish using a variety of techniques, such as bait fishing, drifting, and jigging. You get to keep the catch and the captain will clean it for you at the end of the trip.
Kids are welcome to join and they can join the action. Let them make their first angling moves here and maybe even spark a new passion in them.
All fishing equipment is included in the trip's price. You only need to pack your food and drinks for the day. Dress layered, warm clothing.

Morning Fishing Trip on April 16, 2025 • 3 adultsThis was our first time fishing the Potomac and Captain Darnell made it a great one! He was there prepared and ready for us to board and depart. He ensured the kids were set up safe, then asked what kind of action we're looking to for... that's when you know it'll be a good day. We immediately got into some rapid white perch action once we dropped lines. Now stocked with fresh cut bait we pressed on up river in search of blues to a few quiet fishing holes. It started slow, but yielded great results!! Captain Darnell worked hard to find and keep us on the fish. My boys each caught their fill and even reeled in a slob to mark a PB for my oldest, which is exactly what we set out to do! Captain Darnell was kind, patient, and informative. Thank you for the great service Sir!!!!

Morning Fishing Trip on April 24, 2023 • 2 adultsAn absolute gentleman and a hard worker who follows his passion. His passions are fishing, boating, and the outdoors. Made sure we caught plenty of bait fish (perch) to use to catch Catfish for the rest of the trip. Non stop angling action aside from a small lull between re-bating. You will not regret this trip. I probably caught about 20 Catfish and left with at least 300-400$ worth of Catfish alone. Literally 5 gallon bags of fillets and belly meat prepared all by him. An absolute class act through and through. You will not regret it. Will see him many more times through out the years for sure. Tell him Kyle sent you. :)

They all caught several large fish, but by 13 year old caught one that was 56 lbs and is over the moon! Captain Dee was so patient, knowledgeable and kind! The boat was great! Highly recommend!!!

My dad is the person responsible for taking me fishing and helping me become the dedicated person I am. I grew up fishing the lakes, ponds, and rivers throughout Maryland and Delaware. Eventually, I began venturing out to the open waters of the Atlantic from New England around to The Gulf of Mexico. Fishing to me was fun at first, then it became challenging, and now it is passion. There is nothing like seeing the bend in the rod and the tug on the line.
