I couldn’t have asked for a better 4 hour trip.  We caught a nice stripper, a couple nice size lobsters, a couple Dungeness crabs.  And those were just the “keepers”.  During this short trip the captain provided historical information about the Boston area we were fishing in and information about the lobster, crabs and fish in the area.  My only regret was that I didn’t have the time for a longer trip with the captain Riccardo and Rich the 1st mate.  Later today when I’m enjoying the lobster and crabs we caught, I will be thinking about what an enjoyable and beautiful days it was out of the Boston harbor.

We had a fantastic experience working with Captain Riccardo and First Mate Rich from Trinacria Fishing. He picked us up in the seaport for a 4 hour lobster trip. I had failed to tell him how young my nephews were so we made a quick detour to get some child life jackets. Captain Riccardo never made me feel bad for wasting time and made it seem like it was no problem at all. Everything was so easy and relaxed. They showed us how to use the head and we then took a beautiful ride out to his traps. Along the way we pulled up our first striper within 20 minutes of trolling. (It was a keeper and delicious!) Every lobster trap had something in it and we ended up with 4 “keepers” after throwing back some small ones and a notched female. We also got a few large Dungeness Crabs and Captain Riccardo gave us a killer sauce recipe to make with pasta (it was delicious!) My young nephews (5 and 7) had the time of their lives, and both Captain and First Mate were enthusiastic to have them aboard and also very patient with them, teaching them exactly what to do. The little one loved putting bands on the lobster claws, and was surprisingly good at it! The boat itself is beautiful and very clean. I am not super into fishing and allowed the rest of our group to partake in most of the “action,” while I sat in the passengers seat enjoying the gorgeous weather and views. (So even if you don’t fish you can have fun with the group!) Captain Riccardo and First Mate Rich allowed my nephews to explore the vessel freely, setting clear boundaries while giving them both autonomy to move about the boat freely. I think both boys ready to move in full-time by the end of the trip! We truly had a great time and I will absolutely be booking with Trinacria again. In my opinion there is no reason to look to any other charter - this one is an easy 5 stars!

Captain and Judah were amazing on all levels. Knowledge of the harbor, equipment was top notch, and the boat was spotless.
Although we didn’t catch anything, Captain gave it a 110% and tried all his best tricks.
He gave us a wonderful tour of the harbor as well as information on the fish.
Judah was fantastic with our 12 and 15 year old He was so informative and treated them like they were the most important fisherman.
We would definitely do a longer tour with them next time. If you are hesitant to book, don’t be, push the book now and you will not be disappointed.

This was such a unique experience and both the captain and his first mate made the experience wonderful. We booked a sunset cruise with them and it was everything I wanted. They maintained great communication throughout and took the time to get familiar with our interests to make sure we got the most out of our time. They were friendly and welcoming. We all enjoyed how they would take the time to point out anything they thought would be of interest to us. Great experience all around and I would definitely recommend booking.

We had an amazing experience. From the moment we stepped on the boat, Captain Rick and his first mate Richard, made us feel welcome and comfortable. He knew all the best spots to fish. The equipment was top-notch. The Captain and his mate were knowledgeable and patient. The boat was clean and well-maintained, and the overall experience was truly unforgettable.
