- Growing up in Atlanta, Georgia the focus for me was Largemouth Bass and Trout in the mountains. Once I moved to Florida in 2011 a whole new world opened up. Starting at the piers and wade-fishing the bay as much as possible I knew that fishing was my calling. Running charters allowed me to start dipping my toes into nearshore bottom fishing. While bringing a big Red Snapper to the boat is a special thing nothing beats a big Gator Trout. Those are by far my favorite fish to target. They were before I started guiding and they still are to this day.
