Growing up in Atlanta, Georgia the focus for me was Largemouth Bass and Trout in the mountains. Once I moved to Florida in 2011 a whole new world opened up. Starting at the piers and wade-fishing the bay as much as possible I knew that fishing was my calling. Running charters allowed me to start dipping my toes into nearshore bottom fishing. While bringing a big Red Snapper to the boat is a special thing nothing beats a big Gator Trout. Those are by far my favorite fish to target. They were before I started guiding and they still are to this day.

    Tough Conditions to start, but great trip!

    4 Hour Trip – Inshore - 6:00 AM • 4 adults • 2 children

    Captain Jason took us out in the Gulf for some Spanish and king mackerel, but the seas weren’t cooperating. Quickly pivoted and moved us inshore for some reds and drum action. Heard most of the other captains complaining about tough conditions, but captain Jason had us bouncing around from spot to spot. Ended up limiting out and then some! We will be back! Thanks captain Jason!

    Most fun fishing trip I’ve ever done.

    4 Hour Inshore Fishing Trip • 4 adults

    Full experience, every aspect of ocean fishing. We got bait, fished multiple spots, and caught multiple species of fish. I can remember at least 5. Can’t really remember because everyone was so busy catching fish and the captain was attending to everyone and everything very efficiently. It was a blast.

    4 Hour Inshore Fishing Trip • 3 adults • 2 children

    Jason is a good captain and a nice guy. We caught some mangrove snappers and had them cooked at Harbor Docks in Destin which he recommended. I brought my 2 sons and they had a great time and the fish were delicious

    Jason was great he helped my daughter out and she had her first fish before my hook was even wet. he had us on several types of fish in a couple of different locations. highly recommend captain Jason

    Had a great time fishing with Capt Jason. Even though bait was scarce and the fishing wasn’t exactly on fire, he worked hard to find fish and was very knowledgeable and fun to fish with.

    Morning bite has been slow but still a few redfish being brought in. Afternoons are best right now but the pop up rain and thunderstorms are playing into the equation. Quality redfish being caught with the occasional snapper or black drum mixed in.

    We had the best time. I have two teenagers. One loves to fish...the other doe not. Both my boys had a blast. My teen who did not want to fish ended up wanting to do another trip. He had so much fun. This captain was very knowledgeable and was patient with us. I would recommend to anyone.

Forget the turkey, November is Grouper season. Red, Gag, and Scamp Grouper are all around this time of year. Throw in average temperatures of 60 degrees, and you've got the perfect Thanksgiving destination!

Morning bite has been slow but still a few redfish being brought in. Afternoons are best right now but the pop up rain and thunderstorms are playing into the equation. Quality redfish being caught with the occasional snapper or black drum mixed in.
