Hop aboard the Lindy Lou and see what fishing on the gorgeous Choctawhatchee Bay has to offer!

Species like Redfish, Speckled Trout, Mangrove Snapper, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Tarpon, Bluefish, and more are in the cards if you come at the right time of year.  Captain Jason will let you know what he has been catching and what to expect.

Utilizing techniques from many different disciplines of fishing, Captain Jason will get you on the fish. Everything from trolling artificial baits to catching and using live bait to reel in a big one!

Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children ages 6 and under must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!

Your adventure begins aboard a 22' Cape Horn bay boat that can carry up to 6 passengers. You will see many places not often seen along the beautiful beaches. You will find fish all over from around docks of mansions to grass flats in the marsh. The scenery is just another part of the adventure.

Top-of-the-line Penn rods and reels are provided as well as any hooks and terminal tackle you will need to catch the targeted species.

The charter boat license covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more about what fish have been biting or are in season.

Some essential items to bring with you are sunscreen, hat, sunglasses as well as any drinks or snacks you may want. Alcohol is allowed but glass is not permitted. A small cooler is acceptable as long as it is under 30qts.

Give yourself something to look forward to and book a trip with Lindy Lou Charters!

Tough Conditions to start, but great trip!
4 Hour Trip – Inshore - 6:00 AM on July 6, 20262 adults2 children

Captain Jason took us out in the Gulf for some Spanish and king mackerel, but the seas weren’t cooperating. Quickly pivoted and moved us inshore for some reds and drum action. Heard most of the other captains complaining about tough conditions, but captain Jason had us bouncing around from spot to spot. Ended up limiting out and then some! We will be back! Thanks captain Jason!

What a great experience!
4 Hour Trip – Inshore - 7:00 AM on October 8, 20252 adults

My wife and I booked a charter for half a day, looking for a fun little adventure. Wow! We had the best time! Jason was very knowledgeable about the waters and fish. He is a super fun guy to hang out with and really made the trip over the top enjoyable! We snagged up some mangrive snappers and then both were able to quickly catch a redfish. We also caught several other species, including mackerel, trout, puffer fish etc. We will definitely reach back out to Captain Jason when we venture back down to Flordia and we know it will be a great day when we do! Thank you for a fantastic day, Jason!!

Most fun fishing trip I’ve ever done.
4 Hour Trip – Inshore on June 17, 20264 adults

Full experience, every aspect of ocean fishing. We got bait, fished multiple spots, and caught multiple species of fish. I can remember at least 5. Can’t really remember because everyone was so busy catching fish and the captain was attending to everyone and everything very efficiently. It was a blast.

Growing up in Atlanta, Georgia the focus for me was Largemouth Bass and Trout in the mountains. Once I moved to Florida in 2011 a whole new world opened up. Starting at the piers and wade-fishing the bay as much as possible I knew that fishing was my calling. Running charters allowed me to start dipping my toes into nearshore bottom fishing. While bringing a big Red Snapper to the boat is a special thing nothing beats a big Gator Trout. Those are by far my favorite fish to target. They were before I started guiding and they still are to this day.
