I was born and raised on the island of Guam and in the lifespan of 53 years, I have owned thirteen boats. I am a fisherman because that is in my blood. Hogtide's preferred style of fishing is to put you on top of all the species of fish Nicaragua has to offer. In doing so, we have the latest tackle and fishing gear by Okuma. Our fishing style will include everything from trolling, bottom fishing, spearfishing, and bait casting. We at Hogtide will customize an offshore experience like no other. We can incorporate a half or full day of deep sea fishing along with snorkeling along the way and wrapping up the day with a beautiful sunset on the water. Don't forget, we do surfdrops to all the wordclass waves in Nicaragua.

    It was okay and we had a pleasant trip

    Half Day Trip - 34 Foot Boat • 7 adults

    The boat was nice, a little smaller than we expected but large enough that we were not crowded. There was no head (bathroom) on the boat, so be aware of that. We didn't catch any fish but nobody can control that. I wish we were given the opportunity to hold the fishing rods but that was never offered. The ride allowed us the see beautiful scenery. It rained on the way back but again nobody has control over that.

    Awesome Trip

    Half Day Trip - 29 Foot Boat • 2 adults

    Coming from Florida, we see all kinds of fish. Jason was great explaining everything and hooking us up with Cpt Dorian. The captian was everything Jason said he would be. Dorian was spectacular! He listened to our input and we had a great day fishing. We hooked 7 rooster fish (5 made it to the boat), 3 jack crevalle, tuna and a couple of needle fish. Best fishing trip ever. Thanks again Cpt Dorian and Jason. We'll definitely book this charter on the next visit.
