Maybe it was the cold snap in mid-July, maybe it was the great crew, we know it wasn’t our expert angling… but whatever the cause, we caught BIG fish and GREAT numbers! My husband and I totally enjoyed ourselves and Captain Joe was very accommodating and fun.  We caught enough fish to fill my freezer with beautiful salmon.  His boat is comfortable and he is very attentive to what his customers want.  However bring your sense of humor this guy is jokester and if you place a bet with him, beware of the shanagins he comes up with to win.  Highly recommend him and his crew.  Adam was on point every time with the net to bring in our catch.

We had a great time on our all day fishing trip with Captain Joe and Corey. We caught Coho and Lake Trout. He has great equipment. The weather turned on us while we were out and Captain Joe decided we should come in a bit early. The wind was pretty strong and the lake was rough. The boat was well equipped to handle it. Both the captain and mate were friendly and fun to fish with.

In addition to great fishing, Captain Joe had us laughing, shared some facts about Lake Superior and local ships in the harbor.  We caught a lot of fish.  All we had to do was show up with our fishing licenses, snacks and drinks… everything else was taken care of!  We will definitely book another trip with Chasin’ Tails again!
