We showed up to the dock about 10 minutes early and captain Trae was fueled up and ready to leave. We hit the the out. The water was glass so it was pretty much full throttle the whole way there.

First couple spots the bite was slow. But we found a little school of mahi and landed a few of those. Knocked one of the bucket list. Trae worked hard for the fish we caught that day. Every spot we would only hit one or 2 keepers so we kept moving. It paid off though. Monster red grouper all day. Almost got our limit of red snapper as well and many other varieties of snapper. One of the spots we even found a big school of amberjacks and all of the guys took turns landing one just for the experience of fighting a tank.

Denise was a wonderful mate. Hooks were baited before every stop. She was back and forth all day making sure every one of us were baited and accommodated. I’ve never seen a deck hand better than Denise .

I’ve fished quite a bit offshore and I’ve never had such a good day, even with the slow start. It’s one to remember for sure, and I will keep booking with captain Trae like I always do.

Great fishing trip with the family.  We were all able to catch keeper red groupers. Can’t wait for Red Snapper season.

Everything was great with Captain Tre and his first mate. Almost caught a fish on every cast, but not all keepers. Gulf was like glass with no Wales, but no Wales means no wind! Hot hot hot! Caught around 40 plus Gray And Lemon Snappers. Would recommend this Captain and boat.

As an enthusiastic fisherman on Long Island, it was great to see a captain and crew experienced in getting to the fishing grounds, anchoring up, and putting fish, “lots of fish” in the cooler.  Trae and Trevor worked well together and we had a blast. The boat was a fish machine!! Huge center console that was more than enough room for the 5 of us to fish, even when we had 2-3 fish on at the same time. The best fish of the day was a 35 pound amberjack caught on light tackle. It took 45 glorious minutes to reel in. The best fight I’ve had in years!!
