I was born and raised in the Alexandria MN area! Fishing all my life I started working at the local bait shop in early 2016. I learned lots from the people that work there and fished local waters. I thought about starting a guiding business in 2020. I decided to wait until I returned from a deployment overseas in 2021 so I officially started Mega Muskies Guide Service in 2022. I have a ton of fun taking people out on guided trips teaching them about the fish, electronics and many other things!

    Half Day Trip With Justin B. • 2 adults

    The weather didn't cooperate and we got a little wet. We also ended up switching boats and lakes after the wind picked up really bad. My 18 yr old granddaughter was amazed at the live scope and Justin was explaining it to her. She only caught 1 Pike and I caught nothing. We had a great time and Justin was very good at guiding us on how to fish for Muskies. My granddaughter said she learned a lot from Justin and wants to go again, so I will book another trip. Thanks Justin for a great Grandpa, granddaughter day. See you soon

    My kiddos and my husband are all avid anglers and this guided trip was their dream come true! Captain Dakota is absolutely fantastic. So knowledgeable and skilled! My family not only got to help net a muskie catch of a lifetime (50+ inches) and many big walleye, but also learned a lot! We will do this again for sure next year! Highly recommend!

    Best Fishing Trip Ever!

    I took my 7- and 9-year-old fishing with Dakota, and we had such a great experience! The weather forecast was a little ominous, and he was incredibly accommodating about adjusting our schedule and taking us out earlier. He found an amazing spot where the sunfish were practically jumping out of the water, and my kids had the best time reeling in fish after fish. They absolutely loved it. We would 100% book with Dakota again!

    Night fishing muskies rocks!

    Half Day Trip With Dakota S. - 5:00 PM • 1 adult

    Scheduled an afternoon trip with Dakota, but pushed it to a night trip for better weather and promising fishing conditions. He put us on active fish the whole night and we ended with 5 in the boat over 40" and three or four more hard bites. Great gear and organization, very knowledgeable on fish habits, and cares for the fish and fisherman. I look forward to another trip with Mega Muskies in the future.

    My wife and I were / are rank amateurs at fishing but Dakota made us seem like veterans. We scored everywhere we went and he was incredibly patient with us, coaching us through what we didn't know (which was a lot). We have recommended him to our family and friends. A great day with a very nice young man

    caught 3 kinds of fish...large and small mouth Bass and Pike just like ai was hoping. Dalton was a pleasure to spend 4 hours with and I will be back to the area and in his fiahing boat!

    We had a great time with an eight hour fishing trip with Dakota. We had no problem catching a limit of walleye in the morning, and then went out to fish for muskie. Dakota was even able to hook a big muskie and get some great pictures!
