Mega Muskies Guide Service is a child-friendly charter service, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Don’t forget to bring snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
You’ll be dropping lines from a 20’ Skeeter WXR2060 that holds up to 4 or 5 passengers or a Lund 1825 Pro Guide that can hold 2-3 depending on how you will be fishing that day. They come with everything you need for a productive day on the water.
We will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is available depending upon time of year and species you are chasing.
Before coming aboard, you must buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This is available online, or you can ask Dakota or Justin. Some species may be out of season, feel free to reach out if you are wondering what is in season.
Some essentials to bring are bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

The weather didn't cooperate and we got a little wet. We also ended up switching boats and lakes after the wind picked up really bad. My 18 yr old granddaughter was amazed at the live scope and Justin was explaining it to her. She only caught 1 Pike and I caught nothing. We had a great time and Justin was very good at guiding us on how to fish for Muskies. My granddaughter said she learned a lot from Justin and wants to go again, so I will book another trip. Thanks Justin for a great Grandpa, granddaughter day. See you soon
we spent 8 hours with Justin learning ho to muskie fish. Had a few bites nd a hug fish just barely miss the net when my son was casting. Guide was friendly, communicative, and very knowledgeable. Muskie are hard, but I think our best shot is with Dakotah and Justin.
Scheduled an afternoon trip with Dakota, but pushed it to a night trip for better weather and promising fishing conditions. He put us on active fish the whole night and we ended with 5 in the boat over 40" and three or four more hard bites. Great gear and organization, very knowledgeable on fish habits, and cares for the fish and fisherman. I look forward to another trip with Mega Muskies in the future.
It was a great experience! Good information from Dakota. It wasn’t the best time of year for Muskie’s but he made the trip worth it even on a difficult bite. Definitely recommend and we will be booking again
My wife and I were / are rank amateurs at fishing but Dakota made us seem like veterans. We scored everywhere we went and he was incredibly patient with us, coaching us through what we didn't know (which was a lot). We have recommended him to our family and friends. A great day with a very nice young man

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
