We did the three-hour sunset trip, pike & walleye trip, 4-8.
My husband really wanted to fish while we were visiting Calgary and wanted to keep the fish to eat.  The fishing regulations allow 1 pike per person per day and within a certain length.  There are only a few lakes you can fish and keep the fish.  We went to a lake 80 miles from Calgary to fish for pike. Next time we go, we will book a hotel closer to the lake. 

I have never liked fishing, but now I am looking forward to going back. We plan to do ice fishing with Captain Troy.
Captain Troy was a great instructor. He is personable, knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and funny. He has a great boat and equipment. You just have to show up and maybe dress in layers.

Would definitely recommend this trip with Captain Troy, especially for people who have a partner that doesn’t exactly like fishing!

Would definitely recommend this trip with Captain Troy, especially for people who have a partner that doesn’t exactly like fishing! We caught a lot of fish both days. We got our pike limit of 1 fish per person - we caught 2 fish we could keep and 1 legal-size walleye the next day we kept.  If we could have kept all the fish, we could have filled the boat. We had a great time and my husband now has a wife who will happily fish with him.

Me and my 16 year old son loved our time fishing Pike and Walleye with Troy. He was very knowledgeable and we had some great conversations and plus we caught a lot of fish. I would recommend him for anyone looking to have a great time fishing.

My son and I were in town after a hiking trip to the mountains and needed a half day activity near Calgary.  We found Alberta Fishing Charters on Fishing Booker and got set up with Troy.  Couldn’t have been a better experience!  My son and I were both novice fishermen, and Troy walked us through everything we needed to know.  Within two minutes of my son’s first line in the water, he pulled out a pike.  Over the next 4 hours, the game was who would bring in more fish—my son beat me, 14-11.  Hell of an afternoon and Troy was fantastic!!

My family had a great time fishing Crawling Valley! Captain had us on the fish all day! We caught over a dozen fish including Pike and some great Walleye!
