4hr AM/ trips for 2 anglers • 3 adultsJames was a great Captain, he worked very hard to get us fish, but it seemed today nobody was catching many fish, he even gave us extra time to try to get us some fish, he had what was probably the best boat on the water, and all of his equipment was top-notch. It was a beutiful day on the river. However, it was very disapointing to not catch anything, just not a good day for fishing.

6 Hr afternoon trip - 2 people • 2 adultsWe had a great time with capt James on the big Manistee. He had several types of lures and bait to catch the attention of the fish of a thousand casts. He was personable, considerate, easy to ask questions, and very informative on what we were doing and why. It was a great experience for me as an experienced fisherman, and my wife as a novice.

4 Hour Trip – Weekend • 2 adultsCapt. James was very ambitous to get me and my son onto some fish. He knew where the fish was and there was plenty. The fish were very picky on this day but we caught some small brown trout and had 4 steelhead on the lines. We were able to reel in one of them in the boat. We were the only ones in the vicinity to get fish on the line this day. James was very informative and educational on how to fish for Steelhead. We will booking another trip with him again. Thx Capt. James for the great time!
