El Jefe, the captain, the owner of the outfit and he guides the trip personally. As I fishermen I can tell when another knows what he’s doing.
Jefe knew exactly where to go and what to do to catch fish. He’s great at reading water and watching the weather. He was also very personable and fun to chat with. He knows what he’s doing if you really want to catch fish. Tip the guy well. He’s doing this for a living! Thank you Jefe, amigo!

My son and I have never fished the ocean. I was a bit nervous to book a trip because I wasn’t sure what to expect. El Jeffe instantly made me comfortable. He explained how to fish, what we were going to catch, and how to bring them in. If we didn’t get a bite within 5 minutes he’d move the boat and it was on. We had the best fishing experience of our lives. Thank you Jefe!!!
I would definitely recommend this charter. I don’t know if I had more fun fishing, or talking with the captain. The man is full of great stories and knowledge of the area. We’ll definitely be back next year for another trip.

Met with the captain in the morning for a six hour trip, and ended up catching so many that we had to go back into port after 4 because we had no more space in the boat! Knew a lot about the good spots, and had a great time. I recommend this to experienced fishers, and new time fishers of all ages and genders. Definitely coming back for more!

I went fishing with Jefe on January Saturday, January 28, 2024. We had such a good time we went again the following Saturday, February 3, 2024. Both times we caught 20-40 fish. He is funny and entertaining. He will put you on the fish. Both times I had an inexperienced person with me. He is real good with kids and new fishermen. I would give Jefe an 11 on a 1-10 scale and highly recommend him.

Three of us went out to reef and started catching fish right away. My daughter got sea sick and we took her back to shore. We then went back out and continued to catch a variety of fish including sea bass sea trout and even a couple of large trigger fish. We even caught a pompano and a baby grouper which we sent home to grow. Back at the dock all the fish were cleaned filleted and packed in ice They provided great sea food meals for a couple of weeks. The trip couldn’t have been better. Would definitely book with this charter again.
