Our first charter out of Rocky Point, so we didn’t know what to expect.  We were not disappointed at all.  Don’t let the older boat stop you, as everything worked and all equipment was provided.  We started out by catching our own bait on light tackle, that was fun in itself.  We then went out about 10-12 miles(6 hour charter) and anchored over a reef. Jefe took four of us fishing for a 4hr trip. We caught plenty of fish, Jefe made us feel so relaxed, he had all of the equipment we needed and was very helpful in teaching us to fish. We caught plenty and as soon as the action slowed, we moved on to a new spot and immediately caught more. Our only disappointment was that we only booked the 4 hour trip instead of the full 8hrs. Next time we’re going for the full day!!!

Captain Pepe is the man! So glad we chose him for our private 3/4 day charter. Directions were easy to follow, started right on time. He was super helpful and knowledgeable, keeps a clean boat, and makes people feel comfortable. He made sure we were always catching fish and we came back with quite a lot. Saw lots of dolphin and some sea lions as well, will always recommend El Jefe.

Mr. Jefe was a wonderful captain. From the start he had everything prepared and gave us the comfort that we were going to have a great fishing trip. Very knowledgeable and made our experience very pleasant.

Captain was great.  I took my two teenage sons on a half day fishing trip. Captain was on time, had all the gear, and was very attentive.  We caught a bunch of fish and were very happy with the experience.
