Techniques: Here at 3G Fishing Charters we bottom fish and fish on top. To be successful offshore you have to be able to adapt and use both types of fishing. We will drift, troll, chum, and fish on bottom for the offshore fish.

ON FIRE!!!!!

The Sheephead and Redfish have moved into the jettys and the bite is on FIRE!!!! The water has warmed up and the BIG SHARKS are moving in as well. We caught limits of Sheephead today and some nice Redfish. We also broke off a big shark 30 minutes into the fight. Captain Matt Fish N Divers 4/14/23

Thank you for your reply Stanley. All customers hold their own pole unless shark fishing then the rod stays in the rod holder until the shark takes the bait.

Advertised as going deep sea fishing Never happened, captain kept taking us to fish by docks and rocks. Not enough line on reels, bail on rod had to oprrate manually. Captain said it was too rough to go out to sea, and it wasnt He took us out a little way, then turned right back around, and it wasnt rough at all out there Spent more time boating than fishing Would like my money back. Not my 1st rodeo. Horrible experience, and didnt do what was advertised

Angela, You booked a 1/2 day Bay/Jetty trip. That is not a deep sea trip. You need know what trip you booked before you book it. The “rocks” you mentioned are the Jettys that is the trip you booked. I’m sorry you wanted to go “deep sea” but if you would have booked the “deep sea” trip we would have taken you. You booked the 1/2 day Bay/Jetty trip and we took you on the trip you booked. Ole bait and switch… -Told Matt I wanted to go after reds, specs, and flounder. - Matt says no problem. -Never once did he mention he wasn’t going to actually be our captain… be transparent and at least advise the skipper -Some one else shows up and is only setup to fish for sharks

Hey Kris, There was no live bait at any baitshop within 70 miles of Galveston. Instead of canceling the trip on you at the dock, which we could have done. They captain decided to make the best of it and put y’all on all kinds of sharks and a Monster 40 pound Drum!! Awesome fish bro.
