On May 19th at 8:00am we ran a 6-hour snorkel and fishing combo tour using live bait while trolling. The weather was mostly sunny with some partial clouds throughout the morning. Although the sea was choppy at times, conditions remained good and manageable for both fishing and snorkeling activities. The waters were lively, with several white marlins spotted and actively feeding, which made for some exciting fishing action. And we caught a beautiful large white marlin! Snorkeling visibility was fair, enhanced by the intermittent sunlight breaking through the clouds. Overall, it was a productive and enjoyable day on the water, offering great experiences for both anglers and snorkelers alike.

Teen Anglers Hook Big Action on a Sunny

On the morning of May 18th, a group of four teenage boys on vacation kicked off a 6-hour fishing adventure at 6 AM. The weather was mostly sunny with some partial clouds, and although the sea was a little choppy, conditions were perfect for a fun day trolling with live bait. The young anglers landed two barracudas, adding excitement to their trip. They also had a mahi mahi on the line but couldnโ€™t quite bring it in. The most thrilling moment came when they caught half of a mahi mahi, only to have it chased away by a larger fish while still hooked. Overall, despite a few challenges, the group had a memorable and action-packed morning filled with great fishing and adventure.

Barracuda Battle and the One That Got Aw
May 12, 2025 Playa Del Carmen
On May 12, we headed out for an 8-hour fishing trip starting at 6:00 AM with three clients ready for a full day on the water. The weather couldnโ€™t have been betterโ€”it was hot and sunny with calm waves, making for a smooth and comfortable ride. Since it was a long day, the clients ordered chicken sandwiches to keep their energy up throughout the trip. We used both trolling and live bait techniques and stayed active most of the day. The group managed to catch a nice barracuda, which put up a good fight. At one point, we also had a wahoo on the line, but it bit through and got away before we could reel it in. Despite losing the wahoo, everyone had a great time, enjoying the weather, the food, and the excitement of the catches. It was a successful and enjoyable day out at sea.

Sun, Sea, and a Barracuda

On Thursday, May 8th, a 4-hour fishing tour began bright and early at 7:00 AM, with perfect weather conditions for a medium-length outing. The sky was partly cloudy, but the sun shone through intermittently, and a pleasant breeze added to the comfortable atmosphere on the water. A couple joined the tour and had a wonderful time, managing to catch a barracuda using live bait while trolling. The calm yet dynamic conditions made it an ideal day for fishing, with just the right balance of sun and clouds to keep things comfortable. After successfully reeling in their catch, the couple made their way back to shore, where they relaxed at the bar, enjoying the fruits of their efforts while taking in the beautiful surroundings. It was a truly enjoyable and memorable day on the water, filled with great fishing and great company.

Sailfish Victory on a Windy Caribbean Mo

On the morning of May 6th, a friendly couple from France joined us for a 4 hour fishing trip that turned into a fun and exciting adventure. The weather was good, although the wind made things a bit more challenging. Still, the sea was calm enough for a great morning out on the water. We used live bait and started trolling soon after leaving the dock. The couple was excited and ready to fish, and it didnโ€™t take long before we got a bite. One of the reels suddenly took off, and after a thrilling fight, they managed to catch a beautiful sailfish. After taking a few quick photos to remember the moment, we safely released the fish back into the ocean. Even with the wind, the trip went smoothly. The couple enjoyed the fresh air, the views of the ocean, and the help from our crew. Catching and releasing a sailfish made the morning extra special. It was a great experience and a memory theyโ€™ll take home with them.
