We had a great time fishing with Captain Herb. He was very knowledgeable about the area and about the fishing. For some things we were doing, he would explain why he was doing something such as waiting for the tide change to stop catching bait and go for tarpon. He was also able to put us on some fish and was very helpful while fighting the tarpon. If I had not had his encouragement I would not have been able to land it. I’ve finally shed many saltwater species all over the states and southern climates. Captain Herb had us on fish the minute we got there and landed many. With many boats around he was able to navigate us through all of them and land some monsters.

Captain Hofmann was an excellent guide. His professionalism and mindfulness on fish patterns and where fish are located made the charter an enjoyable experience, as well as worth the money! You can tell Captain Hofmann has been on the local waters and knows them well as he could explain equipment, areas and safety precautions in depth.
