Let me say this man is an amazing guide, fisherman and human being! Pulling up to the first spot I looked at his depth finder and was expecting him to have the fish finder on like every guide I’ve seen. There was no fish finder on and within 10 minutes we were slaying the crappies! End of the day we ended with lots to eat and some really nice slabs! Our trip with Jeff was really great!  He is fun to be around, and a very nice guy.  His experience on the lake is evident, as he got us unto the fish even in the middle of the summer heat.  We had a great day and went home with plenty of fish.  His Airbnb right next door is also very comfortable and very handy if you want to get an early start and get on the water quickly.  I would definitely recommend Jeff to anyone who wants to fill the boat with nice slab crappie!

Although the summer days were extremely warm, Captain Jeff knew being out there by sunrise, knew where the fish were and to fish deep would yield the catch limit for everyone in the boat in just a few hours. He was even sensitive to those who needed an alternative fishing technique. Plenty of water, Gatorade and lively conversations made for a great fishing experience on Rend Lake. Thanks Captain Jeff!

I ran a little late for the scheduled time unfortunately but Jeff was still able to put me on fish. We caught a mess of Crappie and nice largemouth bass to boot. Good times on light tackle lol.

Put on 2 lakes to find fish.  Cleaned ours then gave us a couple bags of crappie to add to our freezer
