Captain Mark was a VERY good choice for us. His knowledge of the waters in and around Crystal River was extensive. WEe caught fish, and, yes, evan a Pelican that was released safely with no harm. Capt. Mark shared his expertise and his favorite fish stories that entertained us all day. The members in our party are avid and experienced fishing people, and ALL of us were VERY satisfied and WILL be returning to him again.

We cannot say enough good about Captain Mark! The weather was perfect, and Captain Mark did everything he could to get us on fish! The trip exceeded our expectations, which were already very high after reading all the glowing reviews! Despite our limited experience, we had about two dozen catches.  Captain Mark patiently helped my teenage sons improve their techniques and explained the “why” behind his choice of spots. Captain Mark was a good guide. Even though it was very windy and the waves were very choppy, he kept us in place when we needed to and had us drift through certain parts of the bay. He got us on some fish. It was my son’s 25th birthday and he was pumped that he caught a variety of fish. Trout, flounder, sea bass, mackerel, pompano, and sheephead. Good conversation. Cold water and Gatorade. Cleaned the fish quickly, and made recommendations on how to cook them. I’m using him again.

My husband and I had a great time out with Captain Mark! He patiently taught me how to cast, and let me reel in a couple big ones he hooked as well. He cleaned and harvested our fish for us after an awesome day out and sent us home with days of fish dinner and a story for a lifetime.
