My husband and I had a great time out with Captain Mark! He patiently taught me how to cast, and let me reel in a couple big ones he hooked as well. He cleaned and harvested our fish for us after an awesome day out and sent us home with days of fish dinner and a story for a lifetime.

We cannot say enough good about Captain Mark! The weather was perfect, and Captain Mark did everything he could to get us on fish! The trip exceeded our expectations, which were already very high after reading all the glowing reviews! Despite our limited experience, we had about two dozen catches.  Captain Mark patiently helped my teenage sons improve their techniques and explained the “why” behind his choice of spots. We had an awesome time fishing with Captain Mark. He made sure we caught our limit for trout and fished around for a few other species! Overall, a great time and I would highly recommend Cast and Reel charters for anyone looking to catch some fish and have a good time!

Captain Mark was a good guide. Even though it was very windy and the waves were very choppy, he kept us in place when we needed to and had us drift through certain parts of the bay. He got us on some fish. It was my son’s 25th birthday and he was pumped that he caught a variety of fish. Trout, flounder, sea bass, mackerel, pompano, and sheephead. Good conversation. Cold water and Gatorade. Cleaned the fish quickly, and made recommendations on how to cook them. I’m using him again.
