Captain Austin was an amazing guide! He was at the landing and ready to go when we arrived. We appreciated the fact that he provided all the essential housekeeping information before we headed out on the excursion. Nobody wants to have an emergency and not know where to get a life jacket or fire extinguisher. First time deep sea fishing for the mom, and the 13 year old’s 3rd time at sea. He’s an avid freshwater fisherman and the lucky dude landed a 100lb tuna during the trip! Austin was an amazing captain, a one-man whirlwind of competence…the ocean was like a roller coaster ride. Two of the fishermen were upchucking pretty much the whole time. The weather was perfect. Thank you Austin for an epic memory!

If you are against having a great time don’t come here! The captain was amazing and truly cares about the people he takes out! Definitely do yourself a favor and prepare for sea sickness regardless if you “don’t get sea sick or motion sickness” what you think is irrelevant and just prepare yourself to have a good time. Most of our boat got sea sick because we thought better and we still caught fish and had a blast!

Brandon was up front and honest that the season would be rough and offered to not go and give our money back if we did it want to.  We pushed forward, he got us into some tuna and put a smile on my son’s face.  This will be a memory of a lifetime.  Thank you Brandon for making our Kauai dream come true even amongst the rough seas!  We’ll go again next time we’re back!

Captain Austin did an amazing job finding fish and teaching us about the birds and how they indicate bait and staying positive during a slow start. We had a few missed hits and a monster tuna that came off at the boat. He showed a lot of care to our enjoyment while on his boat and we ended with 4 fish. 2 Yellowfin and 2 skipjack tuna. I will definitely charter with this guy again.
