We had a great half day fishing at Michael’s secret spot. We went right to fish and caught our limit of trout in about an hour. Fishing slowed as the day warmed up and we changed tactics. Michael also shared a lot of local local knowledge about fishing and other places to explore. Went afterward to the Bayport Inn where they cooked up our fish.

We ended up booking 3 different trips with him. We did an 8 hr scalloping trip, a night gigging trip and and 8 hr offshore trip with Captain mikey. We caught fish and gigged fish on each trip. It was an absolute blast. He’s not a captain that ends your trip because your time is up. Definitely worth booking with. Thank you captain Mikey.

Captain Mikey is great with inexperienced fisher ladies.  He put us on fish and at one point jumped out of the boat to help land a BIG old Red.  Caught several trout and had a super sized jumbo snook spit the hook close to the boat.  Overall great experience.  If you book with him ask to go with him early to catch live bait.

We learned a lot about how to catch inshore fish (our trip was inshore) and we caught a lot of them! I think >60 fish for the 4 of us. We caught keeper-size of three kinds of sport fish and caught a few other non-sport fish. Lots of excitement from early morning until the end of our day. He cleaned the fish and we just finished having it for dinner, delicious some of our best tasting fish ever! Highly recommend and such a good deal for the great day we had!

WOW Mike had us on fish all day. we had our limit of Red fish in the first 30 minutes and it just keep getting better. . Mike went above and beyond as a captain. We learned as much as we caught and we will be chartering we Mike again.
