We had a great half day fishing at Michael’s secret spot. We went right to fish and caught our limit of trout in about an hour. Fishing slowed as the day warmed up and we changed tactics. Michael also shared a lot of local local knowledge about fishing and other places to explore. Went afterward to the Bayport Inn where they cooked up our fish.

Man where do I start.. hurricane Debby had stained the water so fishing was a bit difficult but captain Mike said he was gonna get us on some fish.. after about an hour we got into some pin fish.. once we got about 6 good size pins we went to another location and that’s when we got on fire.. ended up with 6 nice sail cats. Captain Mikey is great with inexperienced fisher ladies.  He put us on fish and at one point jumped out of the boat to help land a BIG old Red.  Caught several trout and had a super sized jumbo snook spit the hook close to the boat.  Overall great experience.  If you book with him ask to go with him early to catch live bait.

We learned a lot about how to catch inshore fish (our trip was inshore) and we caught a lot of them! I think >60 fish for the 4 of us. We caught keeper-size of three kinds of sport fish and caught a few other non-sport fish. Lots of excitement from early morning until the end of our day. He cleaned the fish and we just finished having it for dinner, delicious some of our best tasting fish ever! Highly recommend and such a good deal for the great day we had!

Had my brother-in-law and nephew in town and took them out for a charter. Weather was great and the charter was too. We will be back.
