    Louie has immense knowledge and expertise in all of the Great Lakes of Minnesota and really prioritized the experience we received I’ve never seen a guide go so above and beyond to make sure our trip was worthwhile! Go with Louie and you’ll be glad you did! We ended up catching a ton of walleye, which was our goal, some football sized smallmouth bass and also beautiful pike

    Fantastic Fishing!!

    We had a fantastic time fishing with Louie!! Louie was great about where to meet him, his boat was comfortable, and the rods and reels were user friendly. Louie did a great job explaing what kind of fish we were targeting, how to "feel" the bite/strike when the fish were subtle, and how to read the fish finder images. When fishing was slow, Louie changed locations, lures, and techniques to get us back on the fish. We had a incredible full day of fishing and we will definitely book Louie again for our next fishing trip!!

    Learned how to fish

    5 Hour Afternoon Trip • 2 adults

    My husband had gone on company trips to northern MN and went out with guides and caught lots of walleye. I wanted to have that experience. We chose this tour because Louie only takes 2 people out and he didn’t mind that I was a rookie and also my husband is handicapped and he helped him get in and out of the boat ( which is challenging). I learned SO much and, while we did not catch any walleye, we both caught other fish. He taught us many various fishing techniques. It was very interesting and fun.

    We caught a lot of fish and several species. Louie was awsome to fish with and we had a great tome together on the water. I will definitly go again.

    Pretty great trip

    5 Hour Afternoon Trip • 2 adults

    Fishing with Louie was great. We didnt quite catch our limit but still got fish in the boat, had a good time, and learned a couple things. Fish was cleaned and packaged for us as well. If the bugs weren’t so bad we probably would have caught more but the mayflies were THICK!
