- I am a retired law enforcement officer who has fished, scuba dived and enjoyed the Gulf waters off of Franklin County my entire life. My family has fished these waters for 3 generations and we have a passion for showing others the joy and beauty of the place we call home. My favorite technique is bottom fishing using live bait.
- Techniques
- Bottom fishing on artificial reefs, wrecks, and natural bottoms. Preferably using live bait while attempting to catch the fish of a lifetime. Handlining for a trophy Goliath Grouper. Flatlining waiting to hear the screaming drag as a King Mackerel rips off the line. Or chumming a heavy slick preparing to fight with a heavyweight Bull Shark.
