Trophy Catfish Bite is Heating Up!

The water temps finally came down and the trophy catfish bite is heating up! We are having success drifting and the bite should only improve over the next few weeks. Big fish for this trip was 47 and we lost a giant at the boat that looked in the 60# range

Brett is the best guide hand down!!! I have used many guides in the past and no one was as thorough. Brett called the day before to discuss the trip, what was expected and needed. He was at the dock ready when we got there and ready to fish. He put us on the fish right away even though he thought it wasn’t going to be a great day due to no wind and hottttt! Fishing is fun … when you catch fish! We had a lot of fun with Chums On the Water. I’ve been fishing with many guides and Captain Brett is among the best. Brett is knowledgeable, put us on the fish and we left with good memories, plenty of action and several pounds of filets. If you need a guide, don’t hesitate to reach out to Chums On the Water. We had an awesome day of fishing. Brett met us early at the dock and got us out to several great fishing areas of the lake. We caught around 40 fish and thoroughly enjoyed our day. Looking forward to coming back later in the year.
