Depending on conditions, you might hook into Hybrid Striped Bass, White Bass, Catfish, and plenty more. On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites for a boost of energy when needed!
Your day begins aboard a 24' Blazer Bay center console that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait may be used as well at certain times of the year.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's always wise to bring sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Brett was awesome and very knowledgeable of the area. We booked an afternoon trip for 1pm but he kept us informed that morning charter was leaving early so we were able to go out two hours early. It didn’t take but 1.5 hours to have enough for a two person big mess of fish. We continued fishing with catch and release since sure didn’t kneed 50 fish or 100 fillets. Then back to the dock and Brett went right to work cleaning and packaging fish. Awesome day and excellent guide. And I say that because been on numerous charters trips but this was by far in the top two. Thanks for such an awesome day Bret, keep catching buddy.

Brett with Chums on the Water is an excellent guide. Not only did i catch my new PB blue cat, I learned a lot from him as he was willing to share his vast knowledge of everything from different set-ups to answering all the questions I had about the boat electronics and everything in between. It was as much a learning experience as it was a fishing trip and he did not disappoint on either front.
We had s great time. Captain was very attentive to everyone,we caught a mess of fish. Brett drove us allover the lake trying to keep us on the fish. We would definitely go out with Chum on the wayer again.
We booked a 5 hr trip and limited out on our fish in just two hours. He drove us around to find bigger ones as well. Highly recommend! Was very friendly and knowledgeable.
I recently had some close friends come in from out of town and we had an absolute blast catching fish on the lake. Brett made the experience unforgettable!
